Biggest problems with the beta so far:

All the posts sort of blend in to each other. Don't like that at all. There needs to be more of a substantial spacer between each individual post, like there is with the current design (i.e. where the quote and reply buttons are) instead of that little line in the beta.

It's also gonna be really hard to tell who's posting. I'd like for the usernames to be under or above the avatar somewhere, not off to right where it blends into the posts you make. That's a dumb spot for them, really dumb.

Overall not as bad as I thought it would be, but still a complete downgrade from the current. smh

I was invited to the beta earlier. The forums will certainly take time getting used to.

Really all i want now, is a way to go to the first unread post in a thread. not the very last post.

You have to click on community to access forums

Most forum pages on this Gamespot aren't in the new one like Off Topic After Hours and such

They removed a lot of the user settings from this Gamespot

There's a Karma system and I hope it doesn't get abused:

"Try to make a thread in the new forum and see what happens. Something about a forum karma system where people can vote to ban people (and then a mod confirms or something).

• Flagged content gains +1 karma point for the submitter and the accused. If the moderator accepts the accusor's position, their karma is reset.
• Once a user hits +10 karma they are banned from posting.
• Karma automatically degrades -1 karma each night."

No quick quote or quick reply

Quotes are on the side of the post for some reason, it's like looking at 2 different posts in one 1 post

It takes some getting used to the forum layout due to the design, doesn't flow as well as this Gamespot

It will look a lot better once we can add the avatars and sigs.

I'll reserve my impressions for when it's out fo Beta and live. Not sure how much it will change from now to then, but we'll see.

I tried the beta..I'm back on the regular site. That is my impression. 

Really love that there are notifications when someone quotes you. That almost makes this entire change worth it.
