damn, I cant believe I was once a crazy, intolerant, dumb, creationist, homophobic, religious fanatic.
holy christ that was stupid
Well, I didn't grow up in a strict religious family, and didn't any negative views on homosexuality forced on me when I was growing up. So I never had to deal with that. I'm gratefull that I grew up in a working class family, and that I wasn't spoiled as a child. I've had some tough times in my life, but I've gotten through them alright.
A lot of my friends before college went down the wrong path (drugs), and I havn't spoken to them in some time. In college, I didn't bother to make any new friends, and have paid the price. Although I am doing well in my coursework (4th year now). I'm might be the only one out of my childhood friends to graduate from college. One thing I'm happy about though, is that I have a very close family, and for the most part, we all get allong very well.
The biggest thing that has changed in me is that I now understand some of the decisions my parents made when I was younger.
