Kids at that age haven't really found their identity. It's normally that they change to fit in. Nobody wants to be an outsider. It is important that you know who you are later in your life.guthwulf_dewhat he said

I was always happy just being myself and socializing with anyone, I don't mind being alone, so if people didn't like me for certain reasons it never bothered me much:)
This might sound weird but there's this place I go, they're loads of people, all different kinds of things (goths, emos, chavs, skaters, gimps, punks etc.) and nobody judges anybody there. No matter how u look, any mental disabilities, how old or young u r, ur never judged. I luv that place but I'm grounded :(the_tomboyJust place a piece of foam beneath your feet.

Well, it's absolutely positive if you don't feel like you have to fit in. What I wanted to say is that I can understand how those kids act, I don't think it's a very bad thing to do.[QUOTE="-Karayan-"][QUOTE="the_tomboy"]This might sound weird but there's this place I go, they're loads of people, all different kinds of things (goths, emos, chavs, skaters, gimps, punks etc.) and nobody judges anybody there. Yeah, I don't think it's bad that they do either, but I think it's dumb when they only talk to people from thier "click" and ignore everyone else

They feel more comfortable with their friends.........plus, individuals usually don't seek out more friends when they have enough already.[QUOTE="FireXero"][QUOTE="guthwulf_de"]Kids at that age haven't really found their identity. I can understand that, I was referring to the ones who outright ignore and refuse to even acknowledge others besides thier own group and the ones that are mean to people just because they are a part of certain "click"

A lot of kids I see these days change themselves into emos, gangstas etc to fit in. Changing yourslef to be cool is dumb and shallow. Pretty much doing anything to be popular whether it be fashion or anything else. There have been kids at my school who pretend to be somebody they are not, its not cool or hip, its dumb.Film-GuyÂ
