It wasn't just when he was the sadistical cult leader, he was pretty f*cking messed up before that, too. He's just a psychopath. He should rot in prison until the day he dies.

Hell no. He's never shown any remorse for what he did and has a whole psycho world inside his head where he's a genius and the murders were completely justified. He's every bit as much a danger to society as he was back then. In fact, with him being as famous as he is, I'm sure he'd have no problem finding some disaffected, drugged up nutcases to continue right where he left off.

Unfortunately people have a convoluted image of justice these days- prisoners getting internet rights, weight-training sets, television, etc. If it were up to me, I'd just give all serious offendors a death sentence, problem solved.

Manson never killed anyone. And the killings done on his behalf weren't serial killings.
But questions of guilt or innocence aside no good would come of Manson being released, especially his own good. He's been in prison far too long, there's no way he could function in society.
