So I'd been tryin for a while to get this chick to go to lunch or w/e, after a while I got tired of the games we played and asked her straight up if she was into me or not, she said no and that it wouldn't work out -- this is before she even goes out with me, how she can see the future i have no idea -- so i said I'd quit trying then. It's been a few weeks since I last talked to her, I know I should give up and not bother, but I'm determined. I'm not tryin to trick or w/e, just trying to fight. She wanted the friends thing, i said that's purgatory ;) ...but I don't want to seem like I gave up/ignore her, but I also want to avoid looking deserpate/pathetic any more than I possibly have. Thoughts on how to proceed? -- (sorry for wall, spacing isnt working for some reason)

i would stick photots of her around my bedroom/house to show how much I loved her and then invite her round. I think she would be really impressed with that. In my experience sneaky phone camera shots of her with friends works well as it shows you think of her all the time.

If you want to get with a girl then you can't be her friend. Its just impossible. If you want a girlfriend then find one who likes you and you like back, if you want a friend who is a girl, then find some cool ugly girls. Its as simple as that.
Move on fellow, put yourself in her shoes some really chubby girl askes you out, doesn't give up on trying to go out with you, even though you think she is not attractive. She doesn't think you are attractive enough, find a girl who does.

im gonna throw myself out here, and all of u who contemplate embarressing yourself and making a thread about girls, you can either a) pm me and ask me what to do or b) not make a thread. i feel bad for you guys because ive been there before and now that im older ive learned but u have to realize girls dont want needy guys. if a girl says no, the best thing is to not talk to her baout it again and forget, none of this friend crap or we'll see how it works out. have a little pride in youself and think you deserve better! i bet if you look at your parents or the married couples here on gamespot none of them will say they begged or stayed friends with their partner till they changed their mind... prob not. so basically man up and dont put ur partners up on a stage. if someone says no move on and go for their friends /end rant

Lol dude she said no, your best bet is to move on I would never waste my time with a girl who already said she doesn't like me. Plus it looks kind of creepy in the eyes of some girls
