It was a really good movie.
You might like "Right At Your Door." It was in theaters for a short time, but it was a really good movie. I am also going to see "The Signal", sometime, hopefully, which looks pretty twisted and cool.
I just saw CoM, and not only is it a great film, but it was one of the most powerful movies i've seen in a long time. A definite 4 stars from me. Do you know of any great post-apocalyptic movies? I am Legend had an interesting plot, and had it's moments, but the ending didn't do it for me. Is Omega Man good? What's your favorite post-apocalyptic film? Lebbin

The Signal was great, really grim and the middle part is actually more of a dark comedy. I give it a solid 8.5, maybe a 9. Its good to see people experimenting with horror films.
I really enjoyed the whole movie except for the ending, which I thought was a horrible choice.Strider212
I thought it was a great choice, didnt give you too much info and kept it open. i dont want to be told everything, thats why i have something called imagination.

An imagination is a great thing to have accompany a movie, but when the writers build up the concept of the "Human Project" for the entire film's length, they had better have something solid to show for it by the end.
Think about if in Close Encounters of the Third Kind they had ended the movie before the entire Devil's Tower sequence of scenes? What if Episode IV of Star Wars had ended before the Death Star was destroyed?
The Human Project was a key concept in the film's story and should have been fleshed out, at least a bit, but instead, they left an unfinished ending to interpretation.
Wow. What a coincidence, eh? I just finished watching Children of Men a few minutes ago and I was going to make a topic about it just now.
Yes, it is amazing. The long shots were particularly impressive. Not to mention the plot, which is frighteningly and believably close to home in every respect. I loved it.
i thought it was an okay movie. The production values weren't that great. Very nice for a small budget film ( i assuming this cause the camera they used was grainy and just plain ol' ugly) . Ending was a bit of a turnoff cause it didnt really explain much.....your left off with assuming the ending. Also the movie didnt explain why women weren't able to give birth which was a major let down. Its year 2035 or something like that...would you think it would be a little bit technological then? it seemed like it was a step back in technology for the military. outbreak201
That's the whole point, mate. The way we're going now, the future could very well be a step back, not a step forward. The lack of super-futuristic technology augments the impact and highlights this point.
It was an awesome movie. but I Am Legend, it was ok. I dont see what was so great about it. Good but overhyped.
Children of Men not as many people my age saw and it was quite good.
It was one of those movie were you dont expect it to be that good but come walking out of the theatre verysatisfied.
The 6 minute one take gun battle is worth seeing it over and over again.

You get to know what the world knows - nothing. I think it's fitting.
I thought the movie was great, too, especially in the way it always kept surprising me with its little things.
One of the most overrated movies of all time.B05T0NAnd nothing to back up such an absurd claim.
I'm not in love with it, but I greatly admire Children of Men nonetheless. There were scenes in there unlike anything I've ever seen before. I would've preferred a more formalistic visual sense, but that's pure taste.
IMO, I Am Legend and 28 Days/Weeks Later kicked the **** out of Children of Men. Don't get me wrong, Children of Men was interesting, but as a whole it didn't really do it for me.Sora529I thought 28 Days Later was rather disappointing, really. I greatly preferred the ending to Children of Men, and 28 Days Later was only truly great for the first act or so. Afterward, it declined rapidly, until my entire perspective on the film shifted to "just okay."
28 Weeks Later was an improvement, but even that had problems. Chiefly several plot contrivances that dampened the experience. However, the use of pace in the film made it a worthwhile viewing.
The Road Warrior?gorilazandgamesWin.
I would also add The Last Man on Earth, an older, superior take on I Am Legend starring Vincent Price.
Yeah, I enjoyed the movie. The Postman is a good P-A movie, and don't forget about Mad Max.Wetall_basic

Mad Max/Road Warrior, along with Children of men are all in my top 10 favorite movies.
Oh, and I am Legend sucked hugely, such a dissapointment. It's one of those movies where you sit there and point out the things you would change to make it a truely great movie.
