Children of the Corn - Original or Remake?

Which version of Children of the Corn is better?

I've never seen Children of the Corn before and I need to decide which version to watch. The original or the remake. Any suggestions?

The remake is underrated. The original is so dumb after watching again.

Original. The remake is good, though, but strange and kinda awkward. Especially the scene where the older children have sex to procreate. In front of all the other children. And this one in the front is bouncing up and down all excited to watch.

The original isn't that good, but it's still tolerable. The re-make however is awful in every way imaginable, don't watch it.

Haven't seen either.

2009, it was a made-for-tv movie. It differs a lot in the fact that the leading woman is black and the couple is interracial, which apparently was uncommon in the time the movie was supposedly set in. The original was made into a series, but if you're watching a movie where Vicky is black, you've got the remake.

The original...those kids are just freaky....

The original was the best

I never liked any of the COTC movies.
