Choosing Band Names

A couple of friends and I decided to start a (Hard Rock) band as we were quite skilled musicans, so we did.

One important aspect of a band is its name. It is what defines you and what sparks intrest in you.

I know many people say 'Oh the names not important' but It is at the stage where we need to pick one.

The problem is I had 2 really good original names that I wanted but one of my friends (Lead Guitar) doesn't like them and wants another name thats sounds corney as hell. (I can't give you the name sorry as you may but probably wont steal them)

My questions is, how can I convince someone about the name? Do I just keep annoying him about it?

Also, if you have any good suggestions for bands names that would help (You can have 1% of the profits if we use it) :D
