Chris Angel - Mind Freak ! Real or Fake ?

Is this guy for real ? Or is he just full of metal ? I've seen his show and I just can't tell wether the people are actors or is he doing it for reals ? What do you think ? Normally whenmagician is fake you hear about how they did and and stuff but this guys tricks are not talked about my anyone ? Could he be real ?

Yes, he can really do magic and he chose to take advantage of his powers by doing a cheesy TV show . . . ;)

Anyway I enjoy the YouTube parody more than I do his show. I'd rather watch some of the more traditional up close magic (that stuff is awesome) rather than the over the top shrill shows he does.

Yeah well can you tell him to stop doing those obviously fake ones? I mean, there was one where he was trapped in a box and he had to get out of it before it was dropped 50 feet from the air. So times up, the box drops and he isn't in it...next thing you notice he is on someone's van waving to people all the way from the other side. That stuff is just totally cheesy, at least do it right Chris!

He's a decent illusionist, but his show is way too over the top and cheesy.

I prefer Penn and Teller.

A good illusionist shouldn't need to rely on editing and post-production.

He's a douchebag, and a heavy metal poser. He looks like he would be more suited to playing in a crappy 80's hair band. And he does magic, which is inherently fake, stupid, and boring. Criss Angel: Lame Freak.hillelslovak

Im thinking more or less the same, hes pretty lame with his heavymetal wannnabe attitude. Some of his tricks are neat but being a magician he is "inherintly a fake". Its his job.....but i think David Blane does it better....he should team up with david and have a DEATHMATCH lol

I dont know if these forums are simply filled with a bunch of insecure nerds that hate everything that is popular and successful, but how could you hate the show or Chris Angel? Is he a threat to you?

And to all the people that keep saying Chris Angel is a fake, SPOILER**************** Magic is all illusion. magic is not real people! The magician "acts" telling your eyes what to see and what not to...

Even though Chris has amazing acts that totally fool your eyes, in one of his episodes he says that he trains to sense thoughts and such with his fingertips. He told a dodge dealer to hide the keys of a Viper in any part of a car in a parking lot with over 500 cars, he touched the man's hand with a blindfold on, and 2 hours later he found the keys. He got to keep the viper. Now thats just a talent/gift
