Christian Bale as Solid Snake ?

Why is everybody saying that Bale is everywhere, he's not narely everywhere yet, TDK is the reason why he's getting so much plublicity right now. Before that when he was in Equilibrium it wasn't that big a deal. Just wait another year, THEN Christian Bale will be everywhere.

Anyway, my friend thinks Bale would be a horrible Solid Snake, and I don't understand why, who else would be better ya know? I suppose Viggo Mortensen would be cool.

Same goes for Kratos in the GoW movie. Whomever they pick, they need Terrence T.C. Carson to do voice overs! His voice has so much anger and rancor, perfect for the role! BTW, Djimon Honsou should be Kratos. I dont care that he is black and African, with accent coaching (or voice overs like I said) he would be a good Kratos. I always personally felt that Kratos, in the games, had features that are more common in black people (larger lips, wider, flatter nose) and the fact that Honsou is black is irrelavent considering Kratos is covered in ashes!

I can't really think of anyone else off the top of my head that would fit the look better than Bale, plus he is a phenominal actor.

Not a bad choice. Though they ought to at least screen test David Hayter. He'd need to lose weight, and I'm not sure how good is he on screen, but they need to at least see first.

Really though, Kurt Russell would be the ideal choice, if he was younger, I mean, he basically is Snake (Snake Plisskin anyway, and that's the main character Solid Snake is based off)

There is a resemblance there, all he needs in that pic is a mullet and a camo suit and his best impersonation of Hayters voice

I think Bale would be a fine choice. He is a fantastic method actor and should be able to pull of the part with ease. And he is pretty hot too! :oops:wavey_gravey

I say you actually use David Hayter. He already kinda looks like Snake at times. And he's got the voice for it. I think it would be interesting. But if you have to go with someone do Christian Bale. I guess. I would really not like to see this movie happen. Instead make a CGI kinda movie like Advent Children.DiabeticDood
