I have no clue what to tell santa to get me for Christmas this year. What are some things OT is asking for to give me some ideas?

DVDS

CDS

Books

Video Games

Clothes

Accessories like an MP3 Player

New Phone

Gift Vouchers

Magazine Subscriptions

Little Baby Ducks

Massage voucher

Teddy Bear

Do you really need all this crap? You could just give all the money for gifts to a charity.

Hmmmm. You can ask for LOST Season 1-5 on DVD :D

But seriously, if there isn't anything you want then just ask for $$$.

40 gallons of Vaseline
20 feet of surgical tubing
50 Slip N' Slides

Use the surgical tubing to knit the slides together, lather up the entire length with Vaseline, and find a hill

Hours of fun and no need to run a hose somewhere

That sounds like great fun until you run out of slip and slide going full speed down a hill.

Well the same thing happens with a regular Slip N' Slide

I've done it with two and an inner tube, my dream is to do it with 50

Wait, are all 50 slip and slides on the slope, or is the hill just to get some speed and lets say the last 20 or so are on a flat surface?

I did both of mine on a hill just for the "40 feet of WAAAAAAA" reaction

I guess if I had 900 feet of Slip N' Slide I'd distribute maybe 75% hill and 25% flat

Ask for gloves, and a broom handle. Then if you don't like the gloves, guess what you can do with the broom handle :P

Just kidding, a friend told me that joke one year saying "I got you gloves and a broom handle, so if you don't like the gloves you can go ____ yourself"

40 feet wouldn't be too bad on a slope. I agree though with 900 feet 75% slope and 25% flat would be a better idea. I wonder how many feet you would need to reach terminal velocity...

thing is, though, i really don't want that many games. I have 2 or 3 I regular. And how did this turn into a discussion about slip n slides? Good idea BTW.

No offense or anything, but it would drive me bonkers to have somebody still trying to come up with their list a week before christmas. I was done mine in late october. You're getting down to the grind, so whatever you put on your list put "OR gift card to (store where the item is sold)" because there's a chance 'santa' won't be able to get it, now that it's the busiest shopping weekend of the year.

All I asked for were DVDs and clothes. Chances are I'll recieve several little miscellaneous trinkets that I have no use for. It usually happens.
