You must build it. There are a couple of ready versions around, like SRWare Iron. Link to the latest beta here.[QUOTE="taj7575"][QUOTE="Neon-Tiger"] Then use Chromium...Neon-Tiger

Thanks though. I'll check it out now and see how it is.
AdBlock alone justifies Firefox for me.loco145along with the cool glasser add-on (the updated one), especially if u have windows7.

Adblock.ini file in the Iron folder, open it and past the all the text from this link. You can block additional ads by pasting their URL on the Adblock.ini file.I have used Chrome since it first came out and have used it as my browser ever since. For the people thinking that google is using Chrome to get info on you, you are wrong since I have never once got any ad from google pop up while using Chrome. Plus most of the plugins on Firefox and IE are useless anyways and Chrome must have a excellent pop up blocker cause I never get them unless it is part of the site like Gamespots ads for free users. Plus a bright red screen warning comes up on the screen when you are trying to visit a site that may harm your PC and it lets you choose to go back to the page you were on before you ever actually go to the site.
FF does the same thing minus gathering info on you (yes, google collects data to what you type and where the mouse is pointed at)I have used Chrome since it first came out and have used it as my browser ever since. That's weird... I looked it up on their forums and for Vista users you should turn off UAC or it might not let you save. Give that a try?[QUOTE="Neon-Tiger"][QUOTE="Tjeremiah1988"] FF does the same thing minus gathering info on you (yes, google collects data to what you type and where the mouse is pointed at)But it needs add ons for that. Besides, Chromium > Chrome/Firefox ill build the non google chrom later and see how it is. It's similar in everything to Chrome, minus the Google evil tracking thing. I just switch around between Minefield and SRWare Iron latest beta, like both a lot for different reasons.Tjeremiah1988

Well I don't really mind them collecting data on me since it is probably anonymous anyways. If they need it for their research then so be it since I actually trust Google unlike most businesses. Plus the main thing that sucked about Chrome when it first came out was that you couldn't change the browsers theme off the bright white one it had without actually changing the theme save file in your Chrome Program file. Now with these new themes that are easily installed you can get rid of that bright white eye sore.
I don't hate other browsers since they all do what they are supposed to which is get you to the webpage of your choice. Each person has their own preference and needs in browsers so this topic will always start web fights lol

Google does track all you do. It's how they get their profits. :?
And GC doesn't block both ads AND pop ups. Add-on from Firefox and other browsers do...
Well so far I have not got a single "extra" pop up or ad come up on my screen. The most I see is when I visit pages with the "google" ads on the side of the page it will have things related to video games and movies which I don't mind much since it still doesn't effect my web surfing experience. If I am helping google make money then good for google. I have tried Firefox and IE both without addons and Chrome is quite a bit faster then both. I used Safari cause of its quickness but Chrome even out performs it and it has a simple design which makes it fun.
google may just use the info when you goto websites to display ads you would normally think is in your cacheI have used Chrome since it first came out and have used it as my browser ever since. for people that thinks google monitors your movements. theres a thing called incognito mode (ctrl+shift+N), and also chrome does have the add block extension now.
I tried google chrome when it first came out and hated it...
Just tried it again. Holey crap it's fast!!! Especially on GS. Sorry Firefox, we're done. And IE I hope you burn in hell already.

Welcome to the chrome users ! :)
It's faster than Firefox because you likely use add-ons with Firefox....:? I'd much rather have AdBlock and have a slightly lower performance.spazzx625
I agree with spazzx625. Chrome is fast, but Firefox is just as fast when you have no add-ons. I would MUCH rather keep my FasterFox, AdBlock, TwitterBar, TwitterFox, SuperTabs, etc. than to sacrifice them all for a slightly faster web experience. I don't care much about speed anyway, because my connection is 17Mbps and is well fast enough to browse any web client speedily.
