Canada is generally really friendly, though we still have our bad apples up here.

Well, Japan is great from my experiences. Almost everyone is polite. But I've read experiences where people were treated badly. One place you should avoid is Louisiana.

People are pretty nice in Chicago, as long as you're not driving. Road rage is a major issue here.

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

I went to University of Liverpool, and i frigging loved it mainly because of the people. But thats the problem with the UK, it just lacks identity (and no its not because of the immigrants), our people while not bad, are not the friendliest. Also, people are just rude around Christmas time, theyre in a hurry and have short fuses.

However, if you do want to move, id suggest Manchester, a diverse and buzzing city. Leeds is also quite good, and London, while the people arent great, is big enough so that you always have something to do while still able to have a life of your own.

Americans in general are also friendly, so consider going there, but contrary to what you think, the vast majority of people there live in smaller towns.

Portugal's filled with nice people, particularly the more elderly folk.

But, aforementioned folk aren't very fluent in english, unfortunately.

Id agree, both Spanish and Portuguese people are extremely friendly. Italians are great too.

[QUOTE="GazaAli"]when i read " i live in israel" i immediately thought" oh god i hope he will not say people in israel are friendly enough". good to see you have some sanity. in general, the more open the country the more plain it is. i would recommend Japan(although its not THAT friendly), south korea, Malaysia.X4D

My experience has been that the more "Western" and wealthy a country is, the more unfriendly the people are going to be. People who live in non-Western countries are generally much friendlier.

Well again, theres many developed countries were people are friendly. City people tend to be detached mainly because the lifestyle is so fast they dont have the time to worry.

However, from my experience so far, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Canada and America have excellent people. The French despite the stereotype are also great long as you dont offend them and gasp... speak French.

St. Louis, Missouri is very friendly, but the city itself is dull and boring. Providence, Rhode Island is great, but people get riled up easily.

It's quite the opposite.

How the hell is that the opposite? People are so rude in the northeast. But that is why I love it lol.

I found that in Canada, the more east I went the more horrible the people got once you get to Ontario, but then the trends reverses once you're out of Quebec. Basically what I'm saying is that people in Toronto and Quebec aren't nice :P. I'm sure the whole Quebec hate thing with western Canadians is mutual though :P.
I would know about Toronto, as I've lived there and I found that people in general seem to be more unpleasant than they are in Alberta, but I guess thats just my opinion.
In other words just move to Canada, we like British accents. Well, I do at least and plus we're in the commonweatlh ;)
