The idea of a second American Civil War beginning if Barack Obama is reelected as president is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard and this is especially so because of such an unrealistic reason. The American people would not agree to giving sovereignty of the United States to the United Nations. It would take its position of power away and give it to the other members of the United Nations and effectively dissolve the nation. This country already has enough power to surpass the United Nations and the entire world saw it when Iraq was invaded this past decade. Therefore, there is no reason to believe that president Obama or anyone in the United States government would ever do what Judge Head from Texas is worried about.BranKetra

The people are having their opportunity to say and do something about it right now. Most people aren't even aware that it's already happening through legislation. The people are too apathetic and asleep to see what's been going on. There's not going to be a vote that says- "Do you agree to our country losing it's sovereignty to the UN?" That's not how it works.

Maybe it's time to tax the UN Headquarters in New York. I did hear about some Law of the Sea Treaty (LOST Treaty) that may give the UN more control over the high seas or something like that and make the U.S. lose control of some offshore drilling revenues.

lol, scared of u.n. troops. good one.

wait i know of a guy you may like better than me and may listen to as opposed to listening to some conniving politician or me telling you about why you should not listen to a conniving politician..

"From whence shall we expect the approach of danger? Shall some trans-Atlantic military giant step the earth and crush us at a blow? Never. All the armies of Europe and Asia...could not by force take a drink from the Ohio River or make a track on the Blue Ridge in the trial of a thousand years. No, if destruction be our lot we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of free men we will live forever or die by suicide."

I do not think this Judge is the only one who sees the posibility of a Civil War. The Federal government has purchased millions of rounds of hollow point bullets and have yet to explain why.

The actual number is over 1.4 billion rounds of hollow point within roughly the last year. DHS purchased over 700 million rounds within the last month. The 1.4 billion is roughly 10 times their previous high for ammo purchased in a 12 month period. Not to mention that it's hollow point, which clearly isn't training ammo. They're planning on using it to shoot people.

The only thing that I may be wrong about is the timeframe of the purchase of 1.4 billion rounds. Some sources say it took them 3 years to order that much, some say within the last year to 18 months.

so your saying there is a 100% chance that the government is going to massacre civilians with those bullets?

What are you going to do when that doesnt happen?

There is never a 100% chance of anything. It comes down to deducing the most likely use for such a large amount of anti-personnel ammo. Then consider that DHS has very recently blacked-out public access to view their ongoing ammunition orders. They don't like the stir that it's causing.

He can always claim that it's still in the planning, that there's no definate timeline. It's an easy claim to make because he can never be proved wrong about it.

I don't know any more than the thousands of other people who are aware of these mass ammo purchases. If I had to guess, I'd say pretty damn soon. Within the next 4 years. A lot of people seem to be leaning toward things going bad around the election this year.
