Poll Clinton or Trump, who gets your vote in the general election? (170 votes)

Hillary Clinton 31%
Donald Trump 29%
I will not vote for either of these horrible candidates 25%
I am still undecided, maybe the choice of their running mates will lean me one way 4%
I can't vote in this election because I'm too young or I am not American 11%

After last night's 5 state elections, it's pretty clear it will be Trump vs Clinton in the general election. Even if there is a Republican convention they cannot deny Trump who is way ahead in delegates. Sanders isn't going to win 80% or so of the remaining votes, so he's out too.

Though I'm not enamored with her personally, I think Hillary will make the better president of the 2, I think she will improve universal healthcare, be very progressive on climate change issues, raise the minimum wage to a reasonable amount, and be the stronger candidate with foreign policy. I do believe both candidates can reach across the aisle.

There are things I like about Trump, particularly his hardened immigration stance, his commitment to veterans and a strong military, and his questioning of NATO and Israel. But I would need to see a lot more substance behind these things, and the Republican debates showed he doesn't have much.

So Hillary it is for me.

Hillary, she's not the one I want but she has the political experience which Trump lacks entirely.

Hillary is a horrible reptilian-looking witch. From a moral standpoint, she doesn't deserve to be president. I'd almost choose Hitler before her.

Hilary by far. An establishment sellout like her would lead to furthering the bs status quo. Trump, however, would be a disaster, and diminish our world standing greatly. He will not rule out dropping a nuclear weapon on Europe. I'm gonna go with the person who seems reticent to start World War 3.

Yeah, I like his idea of keeping the American military the strongest in the world, but just as he does with immigration, he goes too far. He's a little too quick with nukes in Europe, and he wants to push Muslims out of this country just because that's their religion. He doesn't no where to draw the line.

It's not that he goes too far, it's that he takes no info from the world into account with his opinions. He has no clue of what he is talking about, on any issue. He also surrounds himself with people who belong in straight jackets.

This election is reminding me more and more of that South Park episode when they had to decide between a giant douche and a turd sandwich. That said there's no way I would ever vote for Donald Trump and I sincerely believe he would have no clue what he would be doing if actually was elected.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Hillary has been a lawyer, first lady, two term senator, secretary of state, and taken part in a charitable/philanthropic organization. She's one of the few people on earth who actually has the experience to lead the country both domestically and on the foreign front.

I know she's the safe choice given that she wants to further the Obama legacy, but honestly that legacy has been pretty good overall. It beats the hell out of an unpredictable candidate like Trump who's biggest supporters don't really believe he will do the things he says he will.

So, to piss off already hypersensitive sjws, you would elect someone who wants to use nukes, wants North Korea to have nukes, whose tax plan would triple the deficit, who subjorns violence against people who dont agree with him, who wants to punish women who get abortions, wants to make a giant wall seperating us from our 3rd largest trade partner, who has made fun of people with disabilities, who has a disdain for women, or Mexicans, or foreigners in general, and wants to bring back medieval torture practices, who wants to ban over a billion people from our country, who wants to kill families of perceived enemies, who made fun of a war hero, and who has Superpacs who talk of white supremacy openly?

All of that, just to piss off sjws, who get off on being pissed?

Cruz is done, he's been living in a fantasy world with his statements, maybe Fiorinas his fantasy mistress.

But I know you were being sarcastic. Cruz actually thinks adding Fiorina will take away the sting of being massacred in 5 states, including major state Pennsylvania.

Begrudgingly Hillary. As a Bernie support, to me it seems everybody from the party and the press at large has worked to undermine and resist and sabotage his campaign, and it's amazing he got as much support as he did despite the odds being against him as much as they were. Still, Trump is awful, but surprisingly more preferable to me than your run of the mill Republicans who would be just as destructive by conscious choice and longstanding conservative policy positions, whereas Trump is just an imbecile.

I will say, I think there's Bernie supporters who won't vote for Hillary. That they see the party controlling things to push one predetermined candidate, the press playing their part as well, seeing democracy subverted by keeping out independents and young voters out of the primary process; they might not bother to vote, and I wouldn't blame them for not wanting to.

Clinton versus Trump is one way I separate mature adults from manchildren.

Mature adults will vote for Clinton, manchildren will vote for Trump because they identify with him.

I don't see how a mature adult can vote for a petulant vulgar know-nothing manchild whose idea of political discourse is to insult people. On top of that Trump has absolutely no policy knowledge and has run an incompetent campaign that is oblivious to delegate rules. Trump says he hires the best people, but then hires a bunch of creepy surrogates and people who don't know how the delegate process works. Then, when he's losing delegates to Cruz because of his thrift store campaign, he cries like a little baby. And this is the guy that Trump supporters think shows "strength"? lol.

I'm not surprised Trump has a lot of sympathizers on GameSpot. A lot of posters on GameSpot have no respect for women, so they like that Trump says things like "you have to treat women like shit."

So, because your candidate of choice doesn't get elected, you think it's a good thing to burn everything down? You do realize that actual people would be negatively affected by that, right?

What exactly would be so bad about Clinton that anarchy is somehow a better option?

So mature adults like you? that sure is the kettle calling the pot black , when you try to make a point by calling million of voters "manchildren" just because you do not agree with their choice of candidate.

Trump may be bad but when you see the choices Cruz and Kasich who is there really for a republican to vote for? A devil Or a person that everyone needs as much as a octopus needs a ice unicycle IE Kasich. Or Trump who is not paid off by the brothers or the rich establishment.

But in a general election, I will agree that if you want status quo , Clinton is the one to go for not Trump.

Kasich is much better than Trump.

No, I'm calling them manchildren because picking a candidate like Trump shows a lack of basic maturity and maybe even a lack of decency. Like it or not, who one votes for is a reflection on them.

Also, nobody is this race is a devil.
