I dont really care, myself. It would be nice to have a whole body of spare parts ya know?mattmaul5488
have you ever seen the island?
Cloning things like wood or water if we ever run low on supply is great, and we could clone food for 3rd world countries, but what's to stop a scientest from cloning an army of Jango Fett's in his basement and conqure the world?
All of it is subjective. Specifically what are we cloning? I see no problem with cloning vegetables to feed the starving...Samwel_X
sry i didnt make myself clear, cloning humans...full humans

Yes,it was horrid..Not the cloning issue..but the movie itself.[QUOTE="mattmaul5488"]I dont really care, myself. It would be nice to have a whole body of spare parts ya know?hollywood6258

~-~Oh don't worry, we're smarter then that. We'll kill a part of their mind so they're just a vegetable. Probably keep them in draws or something like living corpses waiting to be used for spare parts.~-~ ~-~Added: These scientist who are cloning are just playing god. I'm sure we all know what happens to people when they play god. Same thing that happens whenever you give someone too much of any kind of power. I'm religious so of course I don't like it, but setting all religious morality aside this is still not a good idea. (Hmm, religious morality, where have I heard that recently?)~-~It's okay, but not that beneficial for the race. Cloning doesn't produce new genetic material and could leave the clones helpless against certain diseases or other problems.
EDIT: its a process that happens natrually in certain species when they reproduce asexually.
Cloning humans: Wrong... very wrong.
Cloning animals: Ok as long as you don't clone too many for genetic reasons and allow most to reproduce naturally.
Cloning plants: Fine. You can actually clone plants without using a lab.

So you think that modern medicine is wrong?

Water isn't living, therefore it cannot be cloned.

What are you talking about, im saying i dont like the idea of humans trying to create life scientifically...and with medicine we prolong lives scientifically to unnatural lengths.. I suggest you do your conscience a favor and NEVER take a dose of medication, your god might smite you.
Cloning humans is borderline stupidity.
Cloning animals has no real practical reasons, except for a being a milestone in science history.
Cloning body parts is wickedly awesome for medicinal purposes.
Cloning food is not a bad idea.
It depends on what you clone.

have you ever seen the island?
Do you honestly think that a man could somehow get away with locking a couple hundred clones in a bunker under the belief that everything outside is destroyed and they're constantly under the idea of nuclear contamination, and that some amazing island paradise somehow managed to survive the hellish explosion and nuclear fallout and that only the people who win a lottery get to go, never return, and that they just happen to "find" more people in a nuclear deathland, and that somehow every attempt at a subdued, braindead clone somehow failed, and that instead of thinking about simply growing fully sentinent clones and then using mind numbing drugs to keep them under control they just decided to fabricate a lie, and somehow supply everyone there with magically grown food, water, clothing, and that they wouldn't eventually figure something out when something as commonplace as a bug somehow managed to get inside?
Just a question.
Cloning is wrong and u can't clone a soul it just ain't right.MgamerBDsouls dont exist...so you cant clone it anyways

A better thing to say is that you can't clone experience, since experience is a big part of a persons identity.

Souls do exist what do u think makes us choose between right and wrong, what do u think makes us different from animals, How do u think we have freewill and is the dominant species of the world. Yeah we do have a soul.

Where's he gonna get the tanks? Or have we advanced far enough to clone tanks?
Man, that would be AWESOME.
