I'm perfectly calm. If you honestly cant just take simple advice and admit your comment was pointless and insensitive, i'll leave it there.

It's one of the main problems with OT:

"Do i post something good or do i post something bad?"

NAY! Dont post anything at all! That is an option.

Then I guess it's subconscious hostility. Like I said before, chill out.

I sense a bit of hostility. Calm down, man....

THE_DRUGGIE

To be honest, he has a point. You came out and openly said you didn't care about the guy's death.

Now that may be true, but you wouldn't like it if someone started saying 'I don't care', when someone you knew and respected had died would you??

Just think about what you've written before you hit submit, especially when it's on something sensitive like a death.

I'm not hostile at all. I never am. Rather than try to make an arguement out of this and take that age old "yo calm down man!" back-up route, why not just accept the following:

A guy and his five year old son just died. He was a house-hold name in many parts of the world.

You clearly have never heard of him. Nothing wrong with that.

And therefore, it probably makes sense that you just avoid the thread regarding his tragic death rather than post in it just to let everyone know that you've never heard of him and thus dont care.

Simple.

But boredom usually breeds pointless activities. Sure, I might not have heard of the guy, but I can't be denied the right to have my two cents on it. If you despised my comment so much, then ignore it and don't try to make a mountain out of a molehill.

It was such sad news when I found out. Colin McRae was such a talented driver, and what's even more depressing is his son was taken at the same time. He had an amazing career and so much going for him, especially with developing his own rally car and everything. I sincerely hope they do not discontinue the game series either, but keep it alive as part of a tribute to him and his racing career.
