Not everyone in Boca is wealthy. They're as average middle class as it gets.

I'm a junior in highschool, but I'm looking at several places. I would like to major in computer sciences and computer engineering at one of the following:

-University of Illinois- Urbana and Champaign

-Carnegie Mellon

-Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology

-Rennsulaer Polytechnic Institute

-University of Wisconsin- Madison

-Purdue University- West Lafyette

-University of Washington- Seattle

-Georgia Institute of Technology

-Rutgers- New Brunswick

-Boston University

My mom and stepdad want me to go to the Air Force Academy, but I, personally, don't want to. Grant it, it's a great school, but I want to live the college experience, not the military life.

That's actually how I made all of my decisions, lol. As of now, the schools I would like to go to the most are Illinois and Carnegie Mellon. I would love to go to MIT or California- Berkeley, but I probably wouldn't have a chance.

That's certainly a good measure of schools, but it's awful as the sole approach to applying. Each of those schools is different. Look into more than just some stupid rankings.

Which is why I'll be visiting some of them. Believe me, I'm not looking just at their program rankings, although that is the most important quality, imo. I'm also looking at price, admission, location, etc. I still have time, this is just a selection of what schools I'm looking at.
