Yeah and a pharm major, I don't think I'll have trouble paying it off though.

Look up FASFA.
Former_Slacker
heh, but up north your costs are much lower than ours.
I suppose so, but that depends on the province. How much is tuition for one year at a university down there anyway? Lets say not the best university there is, but not a shabby one.
[QUOTE="musicalmac"]How about using it to pay off your loans? calzeta930I haven't had to take out a loan. Cal Grants and other scholarships themselves cover the cost for my schools tuition. I one of the lucky ones i suppose My, my. As someone who works with students on the admission process, I can say you are indeed one of the lucky ones. Congrats, sir. Well done. :)

Depends if its public or private although the lowest will still be above $20k to $30k (private) and 10k to 20k (public) for tuition and add another 10K if you want to live on campus, and thats not including books and other costs.

Thats tuition for a year for a standard 4 year undergrad, regardless of degree. Although as far as I know there's no difference depending on mayor just on the amount of credits attempted and you must take on at least 12 credits.

Kind of a random question ,do you guys ( or girls ) think it will be worth it in the end ? Right now I'm going to a local university so i could save money on room and board but i really wish i
would have gone to a better school . In the end i would be 5 times the amount of debt but i would have a better education and the college experience . this has been a very hard decision for me .

if you don't like it, you could probably transfer. A lot of people tend to spend 2 years at a community college to get their Associate's Degree, and then transfer to a 4-year school.

That's the lowest you can find too. Average costs off the top of my head of universities I looked at were at lowest $35k and at highest $50k+ for tuition.

The educational difference is minimal, if any. (of course this varies by institution...) Granted, the college experience isn't quite there. I'm doing the two year, then transferring to a four year. As long as I keep the GPA up, I can get into very good schools. I think it was worth it. The debt wouldn't have been.

Well college experience largely depends on the school but the quality of education really won't be any different unless you go to an ivy or other top tier school. You're MUCH better off not having that extra debt.
