In English, yes, but English stole that from the modern French coleur, which in turn comes from the Old French color, and finally from the Latin color.
I'm Canadian, and before that, I learned my English in New Zealand, so I hate spelling these kind of things without "u" (so I never write honour as honor). But when I go back to Korea, and write colour with "u", people think I'm making a mistake lol (Plus Fire Fox think it's wrong so it underlines it with red)

As a Canadian I am bound by honour to spell it colour. The "U field" implaced in Canada also automatically edits failures to spell certain words with U so that they are "correct". it also skins you alive.
Colour, but that's not really too big a deal. It's a negligible difference, and people know what you mean either way. It's the metric vs. imperial measurements and units that really bother me.
There is no excuse for lazy English. It is colour, just as in armour or flavour, etc.
The real question is, why is America the only country left in the World that is refusing to adopt the Metric system for ALL units?! They just HAVE to be resistant to rational change, as if change is somehow "un-American". Pathetic.

Well, in their defence, Burma and Liberia also do not use the metric system.

Ahh, two critical countries on the World Stage...compare their current governments to America and you will get an idea of what I think about it...
"Color". Using "Colour" will bring you trouble in CSS coding. I like it when a person spent a whole day figuring out why he couldn't change color in CSS code just because of one single character "U" was there.
