Many people in the United States find killing millions of people perfectable acceptable. As long as it's not us, why should we care? There are many war torn countries in much more need of our help than Iraq ever was.. But we went there to stop Saddam.. because apperently he was going to nuke everyone. I guess not.

Many people in the United States find killing millions of people perfectable acceptable. As long as it's not us, why should we care? There are many war torn countries in much more need of our help than Iraq ever was.. But we went there to stop Saddam.. because apperently he was going to nuke everyone. I guess not.

I don't agree with him but I do see his point.. THe US is far from the good guys.. Many people who hate us over there have nothign to do with our "freedoms" but numerous other legit reasons.. Like the fact we have supported and installed numerous dictators in power, we have armed them, companies from the US have gutted numerous economies over there, we fully supported people being forced out of their homes illegaly pretty much to make room for Israel (not saying it was right or wrong but that is a pretty legit reason to be pissed at them)...

Not ot mention the numerous conflicts we have had where we attack these people that we shouldnt of supported or put into power to begin with.. In case you missed my first response to the gentlemens question about non-terrorists people being killed, I said "I don't agree with the nuclear bomb solution..." And where did I say that I would find killing millions of people perfect(ly) acceptable? And I'm not comparing the situation in Japan with the one in the Mid-East, I was giving an example of a nuclear bomb being used on innocent individuals. Like I said, I hope you read the thread properly and are referring to the original posting about non-terrorists, but since you included stuff in Japan in there, I highly doubt it. We bombed them after Germany and Italy were defeated... And sorry I misinterpreted your point, I thought you said that we should see the similar way of defeat if we bombed Mecha like we bombed Japan.
