Conservative FTW

If a conservative doesn?t like guns, they don?t buy one. Since a liberal doesn?t like guns, then no one should have one.

If a conservative is a vegetarian, they don?t eat meat. If a liberal is, they want to ban all meat products for everyone.

If a conservative sees a foreign threat, he thinks about how to defeat his enemy. A liberal wonders how to surrender gracefully and still look good.

If a conservative is homosexual, they quietly enjoy their life. When a liberal is homosexual, they loudly demand legislated respect.

If a black man or Hispanic is conservative, they see themselves as independently successful. Their liberal counterparts see themselves as victims in need of government protection.

If a conservative is down-and-out, he thinks about how to better his situation. A liberal wonders who is going to take care of him..

If a conservative doesn?t like a talk show host, he switches channels. Liberals demand that those they don?t like be taken off the air.

If a conservative is a non-believer, he doesn?t go to church. When a liberal is a non-believer, he wants all churches to be silenced.

If a conservative decides he needs health care, he goes about shopping for it, or may choose a job that provides it.. When a liberal decides he needs health care, he demands that his neighbors pay for his.

I won't take the time to rebut all of these points, but I would like to see the Democratic-generated legislation that bans all meats, and all guns.

By the way: Democrat/Liberal =/= hippie.

if you go out on a hike far into the forest with about 10 people. then one night you all decide to build a shelter to keep the bears from killing you and you all decide to build it together and decide to maintain it together then that is a 'liberal' act.

Its not really but what I just described is what the vast majority of far out liberal progressives believe

I should know what progressives believe I have been one for more than 30 years and am surrounded by them. Most democrats are NOT progressives or liberals. They talk like they are but when you look at the record they are just as bad or sometimes WORSE then cons.

Now, as I say, american liberalism is pretty much all about democray. we collectively agree to build and maintain a bridge, if someone breaks their foot we try to help. That is generally the entire idea.

I think it's kind of interesting to look at American politics and see just how many terms have been perverted to suit the political climate. The party opposing to the ideology of the individual is always authoritarian for instance. While I know TC isn't actually a conservative it's peculiar that many American conservatives would in fact agree despite him mocking them.

no that is not how democracy works. let me try to explain again.

.. we collectively agree to build and maintain ...what that means is we all vote. we vote that we need a bridge and that we understand its not possible for one person to build it. we understand that we will all take advantage of it and care for it.

Its really not that hard of a concept.

that which is used by ALL will be maintained by ALL.
