Craziest things your parents told you when you where little?

My mom used to tell me if I didn't zip up my pants a bird would come and take my worm away. :lol:

Nothing that I can think of. They are pretty strait forward.

My dad was and still is bald. His explanation for this was that the "nogalumps" (some mystical creature- i still don't know) stole his hair at night to made saddles so they could ride squirrels :|

poltergeists are real. I had nightmares for years.

my mom told me if I went sailing I would be sucked into hell. That happened when i was 5.

They used to swear at front of me and from 3 to 6 or 8, I said swear words thinking it wouldn't be bad!
