One of my personal vocal heroes Howard Jones from Killswitch Engage obviously on vocals
Balsac The Jaws of Death from GWAR on rhythm guitar.
Oli Herbert from All That Remains on lead guitar
Ryan Martine from Mudvayne on bass. Mudvayne may not be the best band at all, but I love his bass work.
And last but not least Skinny from Mushroomhead on drums.
:lol:Â Haha, heard some insane combinations here... Some good musicians, some terrible, some who'll just never ever work together... Like mine...
Lead Vocals - Matt Bellamy - Muse
Rhythm Guitar - Dimebag Darrel - Pantera
Lead Guitar - Buckethead
Bass Guitar - Larry Graham - Sly & The Family Stone
Drums - Travis Smith - Trivium

I picked these guys, because they are the best I know at what they do.
Vocals - Gerard way (My Chemical Romance)
Guitar - Kurt Cobain (Nirvana)
Drums - Aaron Solowoniuk (Billy Talent)
Bass - Dave Farrell (Linkin Park)nintendo_ds_06
I can kinda understand why you'd go with Gerard Way, since he's so popular with all the 14 year old girls at the moment. I can see why you'd think Kurt Cobain was a legendary guitarist, but it wasn't his guitar work that made Nirvana work... All I know from Billy Talent is 'Red Flag' and... The one about the river? Which I actually like but his drumming isn't anything special from what I've heard.
Dave Farrel.. Really? You've got to be kidding me, I didn't even realise Linkin Park had a bassist until you just mentioned him, and I have never ever heard of him before. The chap doesn't deserve recognition, bass melts into the rest of the sound LP spew out.
Hang your head in shame.. :|

I like MCR and I'm not a 14 year old girl...That would be sweet, haha pretty much the core of DT though.hammer_of_thor_
Yeah, I'm really not complaining about DT, I just think those few additions, assuming it could really work, might sound awesome. PoS's singer along with The Gathering's singer would have a great duet sound, certain songs sung individually be each. I'm just nerdy about Jaco Pastorius, and I'd like more Metal with a saxophone, flag-nabbit. :P

Man Jaco was an amazing bass player, and I know every time I try and come up with a band like this, I end up with at least two DT members. Oh, and I didn't think you were complaing about Dream Theater.i lolled at this muse and pantera? omg! dimebags squeals will drown out matts voice:lol:Â Haha, heard some insane combinations here... Vocals - Taylor Hawkins (Foo Fighters and Taylor Hawkins & The Coattailriders)
Lead/Rythm Guitar - John Frusciante (RHCP)
Lead/Rythm Guitar - Mark Knopfler (Dire Straits)
Bass - Cliff Burton (Metallica)
Drums - Dave Grohl (Nirvana and Foo Fighters)
May not be the best band together, but they do know their stuff. If they could work it out I bet it would be awesome!
