Dark Knight...overrated(possible spoilers)

Anyone else think the movie is way too overrated. Sure, it was a great movie, but not even close to the best. I've heard a lot about "how awesome it is!!!" abd stupid stuff like that. Maybe I'm just crazy, who knows, I just wanna know what others think.

Well what did you go in expecting? The greatest movie ever with the greatests effects ever with the greatest acting ever (Maybe it got this) with the greatest action scenes ever and the greatest ending ever?

I just go into movies and expect an average movie, because we really shouldn't make assumptions like that... Then I just appreciate 'em a lot more.

Compared to the Other batman films it is amazing

I think Mystery Men is one of my favorite movies, and I love Die Hard and Unbreakable

I thought it was a good movie (I guess), but for me it was nothing special.

I won't bother getting it on DVD when it comes out. Perhaps I might watch it again when it comes on TV though.

Yea, I don't get the whole complaint about his voice. What? Do you expect him to talk like he normally does and everyone realize he sounds like Bruce Wayne? I'm sure that would hide his identity.

It isn't overrated in the least. THe acting was great overall, with Heath Ledger putting on the best performance I have ever seens EVER!

It was exciting and full of great characters, had a good plot with interesting themes, and was just generall great in every way.

I respect your opinion and you are entitled to it, but how is it over rated? Its possiblly the best super hero movie to come out thus far. I mean if not that its the best batman movie of all time. The chemistry between batman and joker was so well drawn out it paralleled the comics. To me this was Heeth's best performance and was a perfect way to go out. This is all just my opinion and to each his own I guess

LMAO I am studying to go into film.

I have had 3 or 4 film classes where we watched random important films and dug into certain aspects of the films.

I also watch plenty movies normally as well.

No, I have seen plenty of movies and Ledgers performance was by far the best I have seen. It is easy to cry and demand and play a random, lame, sappy drama role but to put yourself intop the shoes of a character so psychotic and play him so well to where you dissapeared into the character is incredible.
