David Archuleta Angers me....

I'm not a huge American Idol fan. I don't really care for the perfomances anymore, or the "big finale". Only 2 out of 7 seasons have ended well, with the winners actually having good careers (Kelly Clarkson/Jordan Sparks). But this season just angers me. I haven't really watched AI this year, or any other year, but I'm watching the season finale for giggles, and David Archuleta gets under my skin.

He is alway so... humble, and modest.

Randy: "Yo DAWG, yo... look... you are molten lava baby. Your pitches were a little high... but tonight... this is the best performace ever!!!!"

Paula: "David.. you shine Rays... rays of beauty and sunshine! I think you're it baby. You're so full of love. You're the X-Factor. The X-FACTOR!!"

Simon: 'Look David, it's goes without saying that you could fart a song, and it would be gold."

David: "Oh really.. omg... wow... I can't... I can't believe... I'm soo... really? Oh wow. Oh... jeesh mister."

He's fake, and this year AI just seems so scripted. Like the judges amp up the finalists to sell the show. Every song is now magically perfect because it's the finale, and no one can go wrong. Ford and Coke have their fingers in everything and it shows.

It should be called American Diet F-150.

For not watching the show that much you sure have a lot to say about it. Oh, and Carrie Underwood is doing quite well for herself, so she was another Idol success.Sajo7

Yup, I got this out of watching 2 episodes all season. If I have this to say about 2 episodes, imagine if I had watched the whole season.

I like watching the people blow at the beginning of the season. I haven't watched since then (I used to watch for the cuties).enjoi_your_day

Yeah, did you know all of the begining idol shows are chosen for that purpose? For one episode they pupsofully find the worst singers for the fun of it. And then throw in about 5-6 good ones in each episode. Because out of 100,000 contestents, they have to make it appealing and laughable.

Me too. I watch the auditions and stop watching after that.

You have to get pre-selected by other judges to even see Randy/Paula/Simon. My teacher is a really good singer, and she failed...then they let some retards that can't sing anything and they just do it for ratings.gasmaskman

Yup. You have to wonder how good people get in, and also bad people, when we all know half the nation isnt as bad as most of those horrible singers on there are. Sad.

Exactly. He is fake and I David Cook actually has some soul when he sings, and character.

David A just signs with that old time style to his voice and those dreamy eyes, which is all that is going to get him to win this thing. Sad.
