I couldn't even finish the cell saga... it was just too bad.

Dragon Ball >>> Dragon Ball Z. They got way too powerful, and the whole Super Saiyan thing should have been left out.Zero5000XDragon Ball was really nice, I agree. More diverse and fun.
Frieza saga felt the most epic to me. Cell saga was too but unlike Frieza, Cell had no background and wasn't as interesting or mysterious as a character for me. Plus Gohan becoming Super Saiyan at an early age was completley unbelievable, it kind of killed the wow factor then on of anyone becoming SS1, 2, 3 or 4.
The lead up to cell was kind of boring too. The stuff that led up to Frieza was pretty awesome most of the way through; wandering around Namek, fighting the Ginyu force etc. The whole android stuff dragged on and on in comparison. The only thing that was better about the Cell saga was the ending which was way more awesome. Once Goku went SS for the first time, the rest of the Frieza battle was kind of boring.Frieza saga felt the most epic to me. Am I the only one who thought the Buu saga was the best? I enjoyed it and thought it was way more action orientated
Cell saga is first for me, with Frieza close behind and Majin Buu faaaar behind. Disliked Buu as a villain very much and the transformations and fusions were ridiculous, even for DBZ standards

The Super Saiyan thing was fine and cool. It just should have stopped with Goku.
How was it obvious? I don't remember. :? For one Gohan became stronger than Goku.[QUOTE="6_volts"]The Freeza saga by far, I mean Freeza was a being of unbelievable power that everyone feared, and Goku had become very strong but he still was no match for Freeza, besides Freeza was just heartless which makes him the best villain. Now the Cell Saga was somewhat predictable (it was obvious Gohan was the one supposed to beat Cell) and the Buu Saga was kind of boring, it got repetitive.Hexagon_777

Somebody was just saying that it was so obvious that Gohan was going to fight Cell and if that is the evidence I'm gonna get, then we might as well utilise that same argument for all villains after Frieza, no?

Oh i didn't realize you guys were discussing that, yea I didn't think Gohan was going to be the main hero either I don't see how it was obvious to them either, if anything I thought it was going to be Trunks who would kill Cell.[QUOTE="6_volts"][QUOTE="Hexagon_777"]Oh, I do remember that! Then what more proof or hints do you want? Saiyan-Human hybrids are more powerful than full blooded Saiyans, proof? look at Trunks when he was 8 years old and look at Vegeta fighting those Saibamen.[QUOTE="6_volts"][QUOTE="Hexagon_777"]Oh, I do remember that! [QUOTE="munkey102"]I agree. I think the Freeza saga was great, but the Cell saga IMO one upped it so bad. It was kinda hard for Buu to follow Cell. The only problem I had with Buu was that he started off totally lame looking. He was not cool at all in the beginning when he was fat and acting like a baby. Yeah, but when they played the episodes showing how he got to that state, it all made sense. IMO they were all good and i loved that show and i don't care what anyone else things about that. lol But, IMO buu saga was my fav.I'm not so much into it now as I used to be when I was 8 or so and it came on everyday. I used to have atleast 50 action figures, all kinds of books, movies, etc of the show. I think the Cell Saga was the best. Especially the "CellGames"episodes. Then Freeza. The show began to decline for me during the Buu saga.

Frieza saga and sayan saga are the only two worth watching. They both had tremendous back story and were epic in nature with themes that hit home hardest. Goku dying to kill his own brother. The redemption of Vegeta and the revenge of the entire sayan race against Frieza. Those were DBZ's golden days. Plzhelpmelearngood man, good man! I also loved the DBZ movie concerning Bardock and the destruction of planet Vegeta. And I also loved the first Brolly movie. It was freaking awesome and showed the true colors of Goku and Vegeta and their stark differences.

Gosh dude that show used to be so wicked, I don't care what anyone says anymore. That's a very tough choice, but I think I have to go with the Cell Saga. I loved Frieza's saga all the way up to the end, when they had to use like 30 episodes for a 5 minute storyline :|... Still though, that show had so many great episodes and sagas, my close second favorite would have to be the Saiyan Saga, since Vegeta was always one of my favorite characters. It should be on the poll.
1. Frieza saga
2. android saga....Piccolo vs 17 was amazing
3. Cell saga, this might have been first if Vegeta turned Super Saiyan 2 after Trunks was killed b y Cell instead of Gohan for some damn robot
i just hate gohan but his SSJ2 form has sweet hair
People rerally think Cell was better than Frieza??? How? Frieza was sooo intense. Do you rememebr how it was when Goku first went Super Saiyan after he watched Krillin get killed? Thatw as one of the most epic times out of all of the DB/Z/GT series.
