Marvel is good, but every movie sucks and the comics begin to suck.DC has Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and the upcoming movie that's bound to be a hit, Watchmen.
Marvel, though DC has the Vertigo imprint which has better stuff then most of what Marvel has produced. EdIT: DC also has Watchmen, which is the greatest superhero comic ever so...hm.. but I give the edge to Marvel for getting me into comics.
