Deaf or blind ?

I don't see going deaf as being all that horrible.

You can still watch TV (subtitles), see movies, use the internet, read books, enjoy the world.

If you go deaf you....can't listen to music? Thats really the only media I can think of that is now shut off to you. I actually don't know how blind people live in society.

Can you still drive when deaf? I know you can't when blind.

I'd rather be deaf. I'd rather be dead than blind.

Have fun walking with your stick.. or driving a car, or watching tv, or going to the movies. Or if you dropped something on the floor and you have to find it. Or try to navigate in a place you've never been to. Being blind makes you more immobile than being deaf.

I wouldn't miss driving, I hate traffic and how they let morons drive a car lol. I don't watch much TV, movies are awesome, but I choose music over movies any day of the week. I mean, sure you can't get around much without help, or some serious practice, but I wouldn't be so heartbroken as long as I could still play some tunes =D
