[QUOTE="amob"]not really, but i don't like it when i see "loose" for lose and "colour" for color. UbAdm
"Colour" is the British spelling.
American's spell it "color"
I know that, but it doesnt make it right. it makes me pronounce it "colure" instead of the correct way when i read it.

Was just saying. Can't be bothered getting sucked into an argument about spelling.

So basically unless it is simplyfied english( american english) it's wrong?are you trying to make this into some kind of U.S. vs Britian thing? all i'm saying is that inserting u's where they don't belong disrupts my reading by making me pronounce color incorrectly.

No, your post just implyed that the British English was wrong in comparrison to the American English, something I found rather peculiar and a little illogical as both are infact English. So I asked just out of curiousity and to get to the root of your previous statement.Yeah,I get annoyed. It just shows you what they teach at public schools nowadays...nothing.AtomicBaconBits
Or rather, it just shows that people are apathetic about their spelling on an internet forum. I don't see the correlation you're trying to make here.

and here is another one for your reply to this post as i don't have time to check this board anymore.
