I... thought it was clever. or something.. when I made it. Because toasters become warm, not cold.
I wish I could change my user name >___>
My username is a mispelled italian car, the lancia3. When registering for the first time on yahoo I had to create an account and my mother suggested the password to be lancia3. I must've misheard her since I used it as the username and on top of that I mispelled it too by typing "lancea3" instead of "lancia3". Then comes the last dilemma: "lancea3" was already taken and so by a friend's suggestion I added a "4" at the end.
And this is the story how the username "lancea34" was born.
I've added the "e" to my actual first name since my D&D playing days back in the '80s for old BBS systems and for most of my wanderings on the early days of the net. But by the time I wandered into Gamespotland the name had come into common use due to some silly Warhammer books and so I went with the male version of a very obscure Marvel character I like when I was denied my usual.

Your sexual orientation suddenly makes a lot of sense. In most tales I've read, the librarian is almost always a feminist and lesbian. Don't know about the feminism part, but at least you have one stereotype correct :D i demand pics :P Oh, goody.I am a girl and I work in a library.

This is very long, and very true...
Maybe 10 or 12 years ago (hard to remember exactly when) I was working up North at a local TV station in the production department. We handled all the local news and all the pre-taped public relation/service shows that are required by law to show... most of them you see early Sunday morning, if you even try to watch them:P
One of the shows was a show senior citizens with a host who we will call "Tony". It was a half hour show and Tony and guests would talk about things related to senior citizens. I won't go into details about content, you can imagine the boredom...
The host "Tony" would come in an hour before the taping each week and come back to the control room with a sheet of paper containing the names of the guests and their "titles" so we could type in the info for graphics during the show. Here's where the fun begins...
"Tony" was always forgetting names (he was well into his 80's and god bless him he kept going) He would come back and say "hey Teddy" one week and the next week say "hey Billy" to the same person... funny/cute.whatever.
I worked there for six years... the man saw me every week, and he never remembered my name. One week, he came to the control room, there were a few of use hanging and talking about things, he comes right up to me with a big grin, hands me the paper with the guest names on it.....
Wait for it.... wait for it......
He pokes my chest... and says..... "solid..... that's pretty solid... there russ" I'm not kidding, god save me... he left the room and everyone broke down laughing... so shortly after that, I made the name solidruss, if you see it out there on the internets, it's more than likely me. It never had anything to do with Metal Gear Solid, nothing game related.

I originally misread your name as "Frame_Dagger" but with your interest in physics, that makes a lot of sense.
I liked Dagger better too. He should change it back.

I liked Dagger better too. He should change it back. To be honest, I thought his username was Flame_Dagger. I have no idea what Frame_Dragger is :(It doesn't come from anything. Everything I put in was rejected, so I put this in without thinking. I didn't really think I'd stick around anyway, but now it's too late to start a new account.
It's boring, generic, and I wish I could change it.
I was another user in the early days of GS back in 2003/04 but me and 3 others made alt accounts with names regarding an inside joke between us. They got banned, I was left and I forgot the password of my old account thus being stuck with the name "Fat Mexican" though I am most certainly not fat, and not even full Mexican. Reallly wish I chose another name but o well. :(
Back when I first got on the internet around 1997 I started using the name Warlock Lord because I thought it sounded cool, plus it's a reference to the mid-80s game 'Shadowgate'. Over the years I've used the name for countless things and it's evolved into several variations. My current one, Worlock77 (spelled with a "o" rather than "a") is in reference to a song by the band Skinny Puppy plus my year of birth.
I was trained in the Art of War by the monks of the distant Adobe mountains.
actually it IS as obvious as it seems :P
