Think the van driver wasnt paying attention and you could see the car trying to get round something was bound to happen it was the guy in the cars fault.

The opnly defense the van would have is if the guy driving the truck was speeding (which is likely in a police chase).

More than likely the minivan driver did see the truck, just wasn't expecting it to be going that fast.

If the van had a left turn arrow, the light visible to us would be red. Besides, you can clearly see a "Left turn YIELD on green" sign hanging in the vans lane.
