During the DeVry University commercial, the narrator girl person says:
"Because if your a gamer, you know what happens when you stand still.."
I have no idea what that means and I wonder if even anyone knows.
Do any of you guys know?

Ummm, does it refer to you getting killed? I don't know.
HEY! If people stopped moving, do we get killed?
 I've wondered the same thing myself.
I think she means you get killed...:|
Or that nothing happens.
It probably means when the match start, and you just stand at your spawn point, other guys will just kill you.
It's just something catchy to capture gamers' attention, I believe. Now we have Gamespot goers who don't know what it means... shows how "successful" this commercial is.
BTW, you notice how they offer you "free demo" of games if you go to their site? I was like, WOW, FREE DEMO!? That's awesome! I mean, I won't have to buy demo anymore!
Even if you don't know what it means, it's still a successful commericial. See how we're talking about it now? That's what they want, for people to talk about it.needled24-7
lmao, if I make a business when I get older, my slogan will be "Dontmake the man come over." And then the commercial would end, making people wonder and start to talk about it.

I believe it's telling you to make the first move and call DeVry. If you don't than it's the same as standing still in a video game...nothing happens.
