I have heard it is a good show but the premise never made me want to watch it so I have no idea if what you say is correcttestfactor888I felt that way too from just reading about it but i was super bored one day and i seen Netflix had the episodes streamable so i watch it and fell in love.

I do intend to give the show a chance eventually. Likely after its finished its run and I can just sit down with all the episodes and watch it from beginning to end
I don't have showtime so I've never seen it. The premise doesn't sound interesting.
Sounds like a wimpy Punisher.

I've never seen the show but I've always been told theres drama about him getting caught by the cops and freaking about possibly leaving evidence etc.
Thats a wimpy Punisher.
I'll agree with Dexter being the best TV show but I don't know much about Lost. Can't wait for season 5 :D
Nope breaking bad. How could you go wronge with a school teacher that decides to cook meth with a student.

▲ Probably because somehow they made such an awesome premise more boring than a show about a bunch of white men in the 50's trying to make money. ▲
[QUOTE="Agent-Zero"]My top 3 shows are Lost, Scrubs, and The Office. And A Game of Thrones when it comes out.jubinoHow can you say a show will be one of your favorites before it comes out? Because the books are awesome, and all signs point to it being freaking amazing.

I just find the premise to be too implausible; "serial killer with a heart of gold" is a pitch that seems ripped directly out of the 1990'sxaos
There's actual character development as to why he is who he is. And he doesn't have much of a heart.

Yeah, I've watched it but the show still seems silly to me, especially the ultraviolet (as in beyond purple) prose of his internal monologue. Also, some of the "big plot twists" on the most recent season were pretty over the top. Edit: I find it somewhat entertaining, hence watching it, but I'm always kind of poleaxed by people proclaiming it one of the finest shows on TV, coz to me it's really, really not :P[QUOTE="NoobisMaxcimus"][QUOTE="xaos"]I just find the premise to be too implausible; "serial killer with a heart of gold" is a pitch that seems ripped directly out of the 1990'sxaos

Personally, I think that Lost sucks. Earlier this year, there were two shows that I kept watching on a regular basis...Lost, and Breaking Bad. And both of those shows were running during approximately the same part of the year. It's funny out how I started out caring more about Lost, but progressively cared less and less as the season continued. Meanwhile, I initially cared less about Breaking Bad, but it continually became THE reason for me to sit on my ass and watch TV. I'd been through five seasons of Lost, completely anticipating seeing how the series ended, and then I found myself having suddenly lost nearly all interest before Season 6 was half over. By contrast, Breaking Bad just kept on getting better and better, even when I thought it couldn't get any better.
Anyway, my point is simply...I've never seen Dexter, but you saying that it's second to Lost doesn't exactly make me want to rush out and start watching it.
