Dexter: Season 5!

Any Dexter fans here? This Sunday will be the premiere of the fith season of Dexter. Ihonestly didn't now anything about this show, except what I heard from BTaylor. I recently checked it out on Netflix and fell in love. Now I'm all ready for season five and am wondering how will they top last season's amazing finale.

I've adored John Lithgow as an actor after his work on 3rd Rock from the sun.
I do have my doubts on the new season though, Dexter wasn't really much of a dad in the last seasons. Sure he did father'ish things here and there, but I'm really hoping he doesn't go all out as the worlds number one dad in the next season.

Definitly the Trinity Killer, such a nice acting job by that guy who was in Cliffhanger and 3rd Rock.

Judging from what happens in the books. . . he should be an interesting father.

If they stay true to the books, that is.

But yeah. Love this show. Can't wait for season 5.

I'm super excited I'm still not over last seasons major game changing finale. I kind of hope it ends soon though because I don't want it to turn into one of those shows that gets crappy because they are too busy milking it for money. PerfectCircles

If they do it right . . . i can see it lasting for7 or8 seasons.

That'd be a good time to end it :) (As long as they don't mess it up :P)

And, omg, lithgow so was amazing. I had no idea he was going to be in the series at all until I saw him in an episode, I kinda freaked a bit. :P

Bay Harbor Butcher! That season was insane. I watched it in a day, it was the best day of my life.

I still haven't seen season 4. I was hoping it would come out on digital netflix before season five, but it doesn't look like its going to happen...

Dexter's going to be under the microscope more than he has ever been in his life. When he gets out of the situation (assuming he does) he has to have to look after the kids full time, which means no time to kill. And with Quinn on his back at the same time this Dexter is going to be a lot different.brandontwb

I have to decide between watching the new Dexter or Boardwalk Empire...I'm not sure. The premiere of Boardwalk Empire didn't really phase me but it could get better. Then again, I have followed Dexter religiously before so I guess I should continue tradition.

My favorite was easily the Ice Truck Killer. My reason for liking him over Dexter, is that he actually compared in ability, and I was always asking myself questions. The Trinity Killer felt undermatched compared to Dexter, and the only reason Dexter had difficulty was because he was juggling a family in the mix. Anyways, I started watching the show two weeks ago. Ran through all four seasons. The end of Season 4 left me shocked, angered, depressed and highly anticipating Season 5. I Googled it, and found that I only had to wait a week. Feels like a year though. But dear God, I like this show. It hasn't been as good as Season 1, but I do still very much enjoy it.
