Did anyone else see Funny Games

It was a small release film by Austrian director Michael Haneke. Basically the film revolves around a family at their summer lake home who are suddenly fighting for their lives as two men trap them in their own home and force them to play a series of games all the while a bet is made betting that the family won't be alive by 9 the nextmorning. It is a suspenseful movie with an interesting plot.

I saw it. It was interesting to say the least.

The 97 original or the remake? I've seen the remake it was a pretty good thriller. I really enjoyed the dark humor in the movie but I was dissapointd in the ending a little.

Movies like this annoy me because the 'good' people in the film can't seem to do anything right. They can be total garbage and people will still watch it because it keeps your attention on what will happen next. I just don't like horror movies/psychological thrillers where the protagonists can't seem to do the simplest of things right. I watched the whole movie. It wasn't very good, and hardly anything happened, but it kept you watching to see what would happen next.

Btw, i'm not trying to say people who watch these movies are stupid.

yeah i saw the remake. it was decent. liked the plot twist, especially the remote sceen. ending was lackluster though which was kind of a letdown. don't remember much from the film though.
