I got bullied bad in Elementary school going in to middle school, but then I learned how to be "cool" and lifted weights. By the time I got to high school, no one really messed with me. I did see a lot of other kids get bullied throughout my years in high school and it's really sickening. There was a boy that I knew from JROTC in high school who was picked on for years and in his senior year he committed suicide. :( So please share your experiences!
Well, I used to be bullied but I revenged (I know it sounds crazy:P) by throwing wet tissues when the bullies are in the toilet or even chewing gum on the door knob... Now I'm in high school and no one wants to mess with me...
I was bullied from about 4th grade until about halfway through 6th grade. What's a bit odd about it is the fact that I've always been significantly taller than my peers (I'm currently about 6'4" at 15 years of age, so you can imagine how tall I was in those grades). The bully wasn't physical though (duh). People just used to pick on me for various reasons, and I just had a hard time dealing with it because I had developed pretty low self-esteem. So the few people that bullied me made a huge impact on me, even though I was liked by a lot of other people and was actually pretty popular. It was mostly just jealousy though, because I now realize that they only bullied me because I had a background they found to be demeaning (I lived in three countries before moving to the U.S. in 4th grade, the fact that I'm not American by blood, et cetera). After ages of major and minor conflicts and loads of consultations between my parents and the school principal, the bullying eventually stopped. I moved back to Kuwait (where I lived before moving to America) the next year, in 7th grade.
for a short time,but haha..i lead him to a trap where 3 people were waiting with shoken up coke bottles with mentos in them and big balls of wet tissues. haha we got in trouble but it was worth it.
I was bullied from grade 3 to grade 10, every damn year by a different person. I eventually stopped being such a loner, improved my physique dramatically and they left me alone. I may be four inches shorter than most guys (5'9), but I still have a good 25 pounds on the ones who bullied me.
No, not really. Everybody made fun of each other, but I was never hazed or bullied. I think a lot of people here are confusing being made fun of a normal amount with bullying...which is more severe. of course, throughout high school, I ranged in height from 6'5" to at the end of senior year and into college 6'8"
Yep. I always get bullyed. They think I'm weak but then when i punch them their like :o they never learned their lesson. the plus is that i get a good laugh out of it
kind of, but i just ignored him. i was quite so some people were nervous that i might do something they wouldn't think i would do, like bring a gun to school.
I wouldn't really call it bullying but I did have to put up with with quite a bit of stuff for about year when I was 11. I gradually stopped caring but now, I think as a result of it, I try to never rely on people very much and am very slow to trust.
Meh, a little... mainly because I have radish hair. Kids can be so harsh. Now days, it never happens. People are more mature... for the most part, their are the idiots who roam college campus too.
No. If anything I was a bully -- well a queen bee/mean girl -- on very rare occasions though and people around me like to keep themselves on my good side and I like to think I am a generally nice person and I was friends with practically everyone. (Weird, suddenly just self assessing myself right now)
I did get bullied when I was in Kindergarten. I still remember that vividly, surprisingly. Ever since then though, I haven't had any problems with bullying, thankfully.
Yes, fairly often in the sixth grade. I really didn't have many friends in my class. I was shy and didn't listen to rap, unlike 98% of that class, so I guess I was an easy target. Being at about six feet, two inches, no one really bothers me, now. :D Plus, I've learned how to socialize. :P
lots of times in Elementary school I would get beat up for no reason really. Only got into a fight once in JH and in HS pretty much nothing. But man, Elementary school was the worst :(.
Nah, not really. There has never been much of a bully problem at the schools I've attended. I was teased a lot in early junior high, but it was nothing major.
Me bully? Never I was always cool with everyone, But if someone tried to bully me, I stand up for myself. For instance, when I was a freshman, some seniors tried to bully me, and you know what I did, shut his face up with a punch in his face. After that moment no one messes with me. But yeah I don't get bully around.
I know this will sound crazy, but I was the nerdy type that EVERYONE liked. I was never bullied and the bullies hung out with me and I was well known throughout the school as the "genious". Maybe it was because I helped them with their homework, but I charged. Made some good money :P
I was bullied back in 6th grade by a pair of Hispanic guys in my gym and art cIasses (including having my head shoved painfully into my own locker's door, various instances of shoves-and I was a small person back then-tripping, and I got kicked in the back a few times in such a way that I fell on my face). After that year, I never saw the two of them again. In 8th grade, however, I had problems again, only, this time, *I* was the bully-there was this somewhat annoying 7th grader who shared an extracurricular activity with me, and I would often burn him with a pen (I would quickly rub the pen across the surface of a table or desk to make it very hot via friction, then poke him with it). I once poked him in the back of the neck with said pen and he went into convulsions for about a minute. That was a period of my history of which I am not proud.
yeah, when i was really little, maybe in the 2nd and 3rd grade. I got picked on for being the fat kid. Then I taught the little skinny kids picking on me that it doesn't make much logical sense to pick on the kid twice your weight/size, fat or otherwise. No problems after that.
Never been bullied myself but I saw a lot of bullying in junior high... but other than that I went to schools that were pretty free from it. High school was great, rarely did I even hear insults getting shouted in the hallways.
no, because i was never afraid to fight, a bruised eye is better than taking **** from people.. ohh and i was one of the cool kids. I was really short in like early middle school, but if anyone took the piss ot of me I wouldn't take it.. In high school i got a lot taller and started boxing and football (soccer) nd going to the gym a lot, so I ended up being one of the people nobody messes with. Im tellin you now nothing helps your morale more than building some muscle mass and sticking to it, the rewards are great, both with the ladies and getting respect from guys or 'bullies'.
I was bullied for years at school, all through out primary school after i moved to Northern Ireland and then until my 5th year at secondary, it was a simple case of being used to it as i had a very abusive dad. However in my final year of school i kinda had a little breakdown and during a school trip over some hills one of the more regular bullies tried it on and hi me for no reason whatsoever and i flipped out, survice to say i blacked out (honestly to this day i don't remember much of what happened) and i broke a teachers nose (he tried to pull me off the bully), i decked my best mate (also trying to pull me off the bully) and i almost threw the bully off a cliff (was lucky to be stopped after a number of people dived on me). After that i was never bullied again :D, i do wish i could remember doing the above as it sounds GREAT!!!.
I'm a small white guy who went to public school in South Florida, and nobody ever touched me. I didn't lift weights until 12th grade, and I had a major smart mouth. If I can get through school without being bullied, anybody can.
