I have nothing against hardcore people, and I have nothing against moms.

But let me just say this...if Jorge can't be hardcore without getting his mom's permission, then he isn't cut out for being hardcore.

And...that's okay. There's nothing WRONG with not being hardcore. There are other things he can be, such as a mathematician or an accountant. And that's okay. But little Jorge needs to realize that if he's relying on his mommy's permission in order to be hardcore, that he ISN'T hardcore, is never going to BE hardcore, and isn't cut out for the life of a hardcore kid. He can still have hardcore friends, it's just that HE is never going to be hardcore.

So...he probably ought to give up trying to be hardcore, and start trying to be something else. At least then, he can work on being something that suits him. But trying to be hardcore when you're obviously never going to be hardcore is like a convicted drug lord getting released from prison and then trying to become president of the USA. It's sort of cute that he still has dreams, and sort of sad that his dreams will be crushed. But honestly...he ought to just start dreaming about something else.
