Or, y'know, Phoebe Buffay. :PYah, I like my name - Tim isn't overly common around here.msudude211
Really? That is my name, and I hate it. It's not really common around here either, but there's just too many media references. I don't go a day without hearing TIMMAYYYY or "tiny Tim", or "Tim the toolman" if you want to kick it oldschool.

I agree about the South Park reference being annoying as hell... but other than that, it's not really that bad for me.No. Now my whole first name is "F. Miguel". That makes people say that my "F" is the F word. At least they should not put the "F" so I'll absolutely like it. Miguel's a nice name IMO.
My name means God's Gift. Slightly ironic.. If I had been born a boy, I'd been named Alexander. I like that name, but I have bad associations with it..Deihjan
My first name is Alexander, it's alright I guess. I prefer my middle name, Damian. It was originally my first name but my father had it changed to Alexander.
Damian was the son of Lucifer... I always thought that was kind of interesting.

Nottheson of Lucifer.Omen.
Edit: I'm not sure if my name is spelled Damian because it's the Spanish spelling.
When I was younger I wasn't too fond of my my first and middle name. Now I like my full name, it all flows together really good and it's slightly unique.

I like both the original and 2006 remake Damian, Damien and Damon are just names that have a similar appearance, and they aren't just mentioned in the Bible. Hell, I don't give a crap about the Bible...

There's a lot more to the story of christianity than the Bible can tell you.
My first name means "the supplanter," and my middle name means "gift from God." I like it. I'm the 5th James in a row in my family though, so my parents decided to call me by a nickname version of my middle name. I don't mind it.
Yeah,I like it.
When I have a son,he will have the same name as I do.

I don't my first name just because of that I am a Jr. whether or not it was the purpose I feel like I was meant extend the legacy of my father rather then be my own person if I ever have a child 100% it will not be my own name.
My mom had about 3-4 reasons she shared about why she named me Jody. I always thought it was too short and almost too cute. I always thought extravagant names that alowed you to have them short were more appealing and obvious that I was female. Growing up in my late teens I found out that my name was actually spelt masculine because of the Y, and most men spell Jody in this manner. Female names these days use Jodee, Jo Dee, Jodi, or Jodie.
Just a few years ago I was talking to a lady from a scooter club who had the same spellling as mine. Since she is about 15 years older than I am she explained that the old traditional spelling was with a Y and female, but later on more men had used Y. I don't believe in everything I am told, but it made me feel like the spelling of my name might not be nearly as masculine as I thought.
I don't know any guy named Jody, but I do know at least three women with the name (same spelling). I can't see how Jody would be masculine at all - if anything, the parents who name their sons Jody are emasculating them. :PJust a few years ago I was talking to a lady in a scooter club who had the same spellling as my name.
