Theres plenty of things to do :|. The few times I did skip I left school and get food, one time I went golfing. Kids I know used to go home and play video games, hang out in other classrooms, go to the gym and play basketball, go to all the lunches etc.
Occasionally. I went to a very small school so they would know if you skipped and something might be done.xTheExploited
I had a dream once, having that same exact premise.

We had security guards at our doors - you can't just walk out and roam around like you can on a college campus.
My school would always call your parents and have a "chat" with you if you missed a class. Senior year, thou, I was the TA for the attendance lady and she let my absences slide. i ditched quite a handful of classes that year.

I edited my post in the sig. requests thread.
I skipped many classes in high school especially P.E. because I was running late in music class andhad to finish the piece before the recital. I took five music courses as elective courses and they were needy. A three month course isn't enough to play a piece decently so what if mastering it. My music teachers used to sign on permission papers so that I excuse myself from some classes too.
I skipped classes I hated. I was never at my Teacher Assistant class, it waspainfully boring, but I still got a A. :D
Pretty much every day in highschool, I skipped at least one of two classes. I got pretty good at hackey sack.metallica_fan42
I used to play that all the time.
nope never did. closest to skipping a class i got was skipping a pep rally and goin to my friends house.
we usually had guards at our school, so was kinda hard to leave school grounds.
instead of skipping a class, i just faked an illness and never went to school in the first place. did that 10 times during the school year. if you miss more than 10 days without a doctors note, you lose all your credits for the semester. stupid.
[QUOTE="-Tish-"]I never skipped in high school, but I'm like you TC I skipped college classes a lot.Jehuty08
I never skip college classes. My mentality is "im paying for this, so its a waste of money not to go".
Yep, same here. Sometimes I skip classes I don't enjoy because I'm forced to take it, but I have a pretty clean attendance at my college.....you get booted out of a class if you miss more than 3 days a semester, anyway. And it has a 15% graduation rate. Hmm.......................errr[QUOTE="-Tish-"]I never skipped in high school, but I'm like you TC I skipped college classes a lot.Jehuty08

My mentality is "as long as I learn the information I need to learn, I don't need to go to class"...class is more like a supplement for me most learning comes from doing the work outside of classes imo.[QUOTE="AL_GREEN"]

Yeah, plus a 2 hour detention for every 1 hour of unexcused absence kinda made it not worth it.All the time. There wasn't a week where I diden't skip a full day and usually I would skip at least one class a day on average when I went. Typically it was PE that I would skip as it was the hour before lunch and I wanted to have a longer lunch.
All I ever really did though was just go get high. Needless to say I failed high school and had to get my GED since I missed so much of it and most of my grades were F's. Always made me laugh that getting my GED only took 2 days and 5 hours total in time (which they divided up). Diden't even have to study it was just a cake walk
