Why would I skip class? That would be stupid. I just skipped full days.

If by skip class you mean stay home and not go to school at all, then yes.

Yes, Freshman year. Looking back, I wish I didnt because I had to play catch up later on to graduation on time. But then again, im glad I did because it allowed me to get my act together and to stop being a follower.

I skipped a couple of days and a class or two in the entire four years. Now, clinicals during high school is a different story. I disliked dental and would either show up late or just not go to my clinicals site a good number of times. It was boring as f*** and seemed as if it didn't really matter anyways. Thankfully, I eventually got out of dental (after a year and a half) so I could pursue more AP courses.

I went past "skip" and directly to "absent." I think I had about a 65% attendance record the last year of high school. Still graduated and went to college anyway.

Only once: my PE exam in 10th grade. We went and got McDonald's and went to the local skatepark to mess around. Failed that exam :P

Only once, but it was French class, which was a joke, so it's okay.

[QUOTE="t3hrubikscube"][QUOTE="Guppy507"][QUOTE="t3hrubikscube"]I occasionally embellished upon how badly I was feeling to my mother and essentially skipped whole days from time to time. Most of those times I was either barely sick or not sick at all, just merely depressed or exhausted. I only skipped a class once in high school. It was the last month of my senior year and I decided that I wanted to do something bad! I skipped my band class because I knew I could get away with it. You know what I did during that period? I sat in the library.

Such a bad girl... I'm so disappointed in you.

Yes I feel quite a lot of remorse! :(

I'm sure you do! Didn't the librarian think it was weird that you were there instead of in class?

Nah I don't think anyone noticed! The library was very busy around that time of day and I just did some Latin homework and blended right in! :(

Yeah. Mostly in Junior/Senior year. If I'd shown up to class in my last semester, the teacher would actually be surprised to see me.

A few times, our 1st class and 3rd class homeroom were always the same, but our 2nd, 4th, 5th, and 6th classes alternated through the week, there was one teacher that'd be our 6th period teacher on Fridays and he'd just have us watch movies a lot and didn't take attendance, so we'd sneak out 6th period and go see the newly released films at the theater from time to time, only did it a few times though. Though in our senior year when we were given the 3rd period off for community service hour I'd often skip that if I needed to study.

you remind me of this kid we had in our 1st hour class. it was a senior class, and this kid was almost never on time. always 20 to 30 minutes late, if he even showed up at all. i remember the teacher and whole class making bets(no money, of course) as to if he was gonna be late or on time. 'twas fun. the days he actually was on time, the whole class was surprised, sometimes even applauded.

Never have. Except when I went to my friends house when there was a cultural presentation, but my parents didn't care.

Yeah. I few times. I usually skipped during pep rallies or I just went to one of my other classes who let me stay in their class. Also, my sister used to pick me up early from school and take me to the beach. It was awesome since the beach was nice and empty during the weekday.

I stay home occasionally if I know nothing important is going on, but if I'm already at school I don't see the point of skipping.

I skipped my English class a few times late in my senior year since it was my only class after lunch and I was already getting an A average. Plus the teacher didn't really care since I took a nap in class often :P

I did once but that was senior skip day. But now that I'm in college, I skip way too much. In two of my classes I haven't been in three weeks.

Some of my teachers used to put the role at the front of the room and let the students walk up and sign themselves off. You could just walk into class, sign your name, and walk out. It was awesome.

I skipped at least once a week back in 9th grade. I just couldn't stand going to my english class. xD Once I changed schools for 10-12 grade, that all ended thanks to my dad. >_>

I did it every once in awhile. Not enough to get into any real trouble or allow my grades to slip; and only on days that I knew we had nothing important going on in my classes. I did however, have quite the tardy record my Junior year. Even became an actual school record. I was late 87 times in a row out of the entire year. I had a problem with waking up early enough to actually make it to school. Plus I liked to stop and get breakfast and a cup of coffee before heading into class.

For some reason I started doing it A LOT this year(Junior) is this like a High School phase? It's becoming as an addiction and I just don't care about coming to some classes because they waste my time. I only like 3 classes.

I just can't wait to get into college.

No, but i want to skip Spanish tomorrow....

ps3wizard45
That subject sucks. I can't seem to understand anything there, ironic because I used to speak fluent Spanish as a kid. I always skip it(first period) I absolutely hate it. The books suck like some idiot made it and the tests are annoying as hell. I'm planning on just dropping it.

And do what, hide in the bathroom?

Lol if you don't have friends.. I could name stuff that I did with friends when I skipped but I would get modded :(

But there's a mall right beside my school, so we just chill there.

That's what I did. Mall, out to eat at random restaurants, coffee houses, home or to friends' house to play video games, and other stuff I too could also mention but possibly get modded for, etc.

Yes, and on a numerous amount of occasions. I had gotten caught by the sheriffs at the park down the street from my school once; they fined me and I had to go to court. Wish I would have made better choices back then.

For any non-legit reason? No. Would've gotten in trouble and it was hard to do.

You had to go to court for skipping school? That's pretty intense. All we would get was detention and maybe a phone call to the parents.

i used to skip school all the time, the best part was when id goto the mall with a couple of my friends and id see someone else there who was skipping, there would always be that "skipping school comrodery"... you gotta stop and talk a little while about how awesome it is to skip school lol.

HECK YEAH!

One time I got busted, I called the school (as normal) and told them my son was sick and would be out. They called my dad and asked if he had called me out sick....lol.

I was driving to an arcade with my friend and I swer to you, I pulled up behind my mom and older brother at a stop light while they were out looking for me. They didn't see me though, but heading to the arcade I was going to which was across the street. Yeah I konew I was busted.

At the end of the day my Dad came home and said, "Did you really think you wouyld get away with it?" I felt like telling him "YEAH" cause the I did the other 7 times. Heck I worked as an office aid and used to right passes for my friends and change attendance slips. I was a tool!

I'm a senior in high school this year and I have skipped alot during my high school years. At my school it is so easy to leave and its right in the middle of downtown so there are plenty of places to go.

Yes, but it didn't stop me from doing well. In college, I go regularly, only skipping when I have to, instead of whenever I want.
