Nope. Went to a friends place and hung out in the basement with my friends and got high and drank booze. Then when the prom was over, they had an after-party.
Didn't want to go. And I made the right decision. All I heard was how god-awful it was for weeks. Me and my girlfriend just went out and had a nice dinner and saw a movie. Much better time in my opinion.
for prom, me and my friends are probably going to have a party at my house, i gona set up a ps3 downstairs and we gona have a 360 upstairs and we gona order pizza and play on ps3 and 360 all day, gears of war, halo, resistance fall of man, fight night round 3, and madden 07 and stuff

I think it all depends on the school, my school let people from other schools go and also let juniors.

I've been kind of out and around touring colleges all over the country. I'm kind of regretting taking the year break after high school but I should be around more now. How have you been?

Very well...I'm in my sophomore year of highschool, and I have been able to post on Gamespot frequently for the first time in a while. I'm glad that you'll be back more often...Â

Most schools I think allow this. My date didn't go my school, and there were also alot of girls who took 25 year olds to the formal dances. Also one of my friends took his gf's mom, and his gf took her dad, that was kind of weird.

anyway I don't know why you wouldn't go to your prom even if you hate high school it's one of those things you should at least do. It's like getting a senior ring, or going to your graduation. Sure they are stupid traditions, but at least nobody can ask "did you regret not going to prom?", and you can reply I went to prom it sucked, I regret going.
I went I loved it it was one of the greatest nights of my life. I got Prom King, I had a beautiful date. She was absolutly amazing and it was at the Old Govenors Mansion in Baton Rouge, Louisiana
I didn't go to my prom. I went to the wicked afterparty though. Damn tickets for the prom were like 120 bucks! Not to mention all the things like a tux and everything else you would need. So i said "screw it."
