Did Your Highschool Have Metal Detectors

i recently went back to my highschool to pick up my sister and saw that they installed metal detectors and a cop to the school? did your school have this now. the school wasnt or isnt dangerous \. it wasnt even in a bad neighborhood.

No, my school didn't have metal detectors.

yeah, had em at all entrances, and security cams too.

No, but we had cameras in some places.
We also had a constable, but he wasn't there most of the time. Just for dealing with the occasional incident I guess. Then again, every other HS in the city had one, so maybe it was requirement.

We have cameras in every hallway. A lot of cameras, considering we have a high school that has 4000 students. We also have like 5 or 6 armed policeman that patrol the campus.

Drug dogs, school police and school security are a real pain, and they always want us to bring see through backpacks, I might as well bring a freakin plasic bag and dump all my school supplies in there. Wimps...

I dont know why they need so much security, hardly anything bad happens at all. My old school on the other hand...

Strangely no, and my highschool is supposed to be the most ghetto school in the county.

My school is modeled after a woman's prison, but we don't have any security.

No.. because everyone was white.... ( i was latino) then many latinos/blacks starting coming to the school and they installed metal detectors :(Solid_Tango

Nope, we did have a campus police officer though, he was a pretty cool guy.
