Did your Parents hit you as a kid

More like throwing anything near them at me. Ive been hit with a laptop once.

They had the sence not to. Beating children causes so many psychological problems it's unbelievable that people are still stupid enough to do it.

My dad cuffed me all the time for the smallest offenses or when he was just mad and i go in his way. He would occasionally hold my neck till I was gasping for air then throw me. He stopped when a couple of months ago he tried it and got his ass kicked. Verbal abuse happens ever other conversation though.

Sometimes, but they eventually learned it wasn't really doing a whole lot.

I was spanked quite often, but never hit with fists...

My dad was so terrifying I didn't need a lot of spankings from him-I tried to be really good when he was around cuz he was kinda verbally abusive... I don't get along with him to this day... anyway, I still got them from him

My mom would switch (spank) me a lot- but she would usually give me a choice - either I get a spanking or no Nintendo... I'd always choose the spanking... I'd actually have to go cut my own switch (stick) from a bush outside... heh.

Only my Mother. She just hits me along with my siblings when she is stressed out which results us in becoming the rebelious type on who we are right now.

Hit? No. Spank? Yes. There is a very real difference between the two. Both are physical contact but one is abuse and the other is discipline.

My parents spanked me a few times, but I learned my lesson quickly and they stopped soon after.

I got spanked occationally. Always open handed on the butt. It never hurt for more than a few minutes. My parents never actually hit me or beat me or anything.

Eh, nothing too serious. I was probably "disciplined" the least out of all my siblings.

i got beat down with the god damn coat hanger. Well it wasn't as bad as my brother though, my dad would keep the coat hanger close to him whereever he went b/c of my lil bro's stupidity, plus he got beaten with the belt. bamboo stick and what else lol
