No idea. I suppose it could be because of stereotypes. Lesbians have perhaps been more sexualised than gays, probably because women are more sexualised than men.

i'm not really into the whole porn thing, but if i had the choice of either watching two females or a man and a female i guess i would rather see two females. i'm just not into seeing other men naked. with two females all you see are the females...but again i'm not really interested in porn in general.

When you say "tends" you are generalizing. There is no way to know what hetereosexuals "prefer" when it comes to porn. Everyone's taste is different.
