i want the days of 2D hand drawn disney animated movies back. not the stagnating CGI ones that all use the same kind of humor, are uninspired, and have a soundtrack consisting of nothing but 70's disco hits.

That's another good one. I love Road to El Dorado.
That movie was funny but it was random as hell.
 I used to love that movie :P.
But, yeah, it was kind of random lol.
[QUOTE="chessmaster1989"]Old Disney movies are amazing, especially The Lion King :D.fidosimI like the Lion King, which means you're not allowed to! :x Also, I haven't seen any mentions of Pocahontas. Colors of the freaking wind, anyone?
Pfft, no, the only person who's not allows to agree with me on anything is DivergeUnity. :P
You're allowed to agree with me on things :D.
Pcahontas was alright, but not one of my favorites :P.

I agree, except for the Dreamworks part. Dreamworks has had some good animated films, like Shrek, but overall they've made films that are really crappy or nothing out of the ordinary.
Anyways, some of my favorite Classic Disney films (Excluding Pixar) include... Peter Pan, Pinocchio, Aladdin, Song of the South, Hercules, and The Jungle Book.
Is anyone aware of The Princess and the Frog coming out soon? Disney is back at traditional animation. :D

On the one hand, I'm glad Disney is finally doing something right in regards to animation.
On the other hand, I'm not so glad that that trailer seemed horribly racist for some reason.

Racist? What was so racist about the teaser? Is is because it's a black princess? Just because Disney has now introduced their first black princess doesn't mean it's racist. Don't be silly.

I've never seen the Lion King :(
Theokhoth
This. . .is not possible. :o:o:o
I didn't see The Lion King until this year in my Spanish class, being a sophomore.
I like quite a bit of the golden age of Disney with my favorites being Peter Pan, Fantasia & The Jungle Book. I still like most of the golden age stuff for the animation but some of the female soprano-type singing can grate on my ears now and again. I really enjoyed the renaissance of their animation studios when they hit with The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast and most notably Aladdin, but I really think they started to stumble a bit starting with The Lion King and have just been hit and miss ever since then.
The best part of Bambi was when Bambie's mother was shot! Does that make me a bad person?
Zan_Puppet
It's like, the only criteria for determining whether or not someone is bad.
"So what did you think the death of Bambi's mother?"
"Honestly? It didn't bother me that much."
"Yep, we got a serious sociopath, here."

It'd be cool if there was a Beauty and the Beast ride at Disney World or Land.
-_Rain_-
I think there is. . .isn't there a teacup ride?
I thought that was an Alice in Wonderland ride?? The Mad Tea Party or something. Which I think's a super cool looking ride.

Oh, who cares about historical accuracy. I'm pretty sure Rasputin didn't come back to life to try to kill Anastasia, either.[QUOTE="-_Rain_-"]

Could be. I haven't been to Disney World in years, and haven't benn to Disney Land at all.
Isn't the castle in the middle of Disney World the same castle in B&B?

No, the caste at World is from Cinderella. The castle at Land is Sleeping Beauty's. I believe B&B castle is at the Disney in France, because technically that's where B&B took place.
