Just went up.
No no for Mac users though.
This topic is locked from further discussion.
It froze, crashed, and didn't load any page for me when I tried it
Darn, I expected something better, even for a beta that's pretty bad
[QUOTE="NetYankEagle"]Wheres the Chrome!!???!!Mr_Lurker
You can't handle the chrome!!!
Snake!!!? Snake? SNAAAAAAAAAAAAKE!!!!!.....dunnnnThat stinks, i always use that feature. I just noticed also that animated .gifs run at the correct speed for me with this browser, which is nice.I like how it looks. I'm using it right now. Kind of annoying that I can't use virtual scroll.

[QUOTE="jointed"]Finally a new browser that'll hopefully get me off FF3.rohver
dont get your hopes high. Chrome will probably never have ADblock (the reason why I use FF3) or add-ons as many as FF3.
Yeah same here.

It's open source. I'm sure AdBlock will make a Chrome version soon.
No, I'm sticking to my IE7North-NorthYou need it! I was a firm beliver that firefox was the only way to go. But this. This is heaven. It's less technical and you regain alot of space. All it need is a spell checker.

Is virtual scroll like scrolling on a laptop by holding in the two buttons and moving down on the touchpad? If so - yea, that is bothering me too.
But, asides that, it is a pretty cool browser. Nice to look at, simple and fast. Also, it hasn't crashed or anything for me yet, im posting from it right now.
I'm using it right now, but I'm not a big fan. I don't know where to find my bookmarks and I can't use Ad-Block Plus. I think I'll go back to FF for now, anyway.omfg_its_dallyUm it's right by the little wrench thigy. You can import all your bookmarks.
"You've gone incognito. Pages you view in this window won't appear in your browser history or search history, and they won't leave other traces, like cookies, on your computer after you close the incognito window. Any files you download or bookmarks you create will be preserved, however. "
Pretty cool feature.

Plus why download something that takes you there when I already have it?

There doesn't seem to be a way for me to access my bookmarks that I imported from FF3.
Thus, fail.
Edit: They're all clumped in some stupid "bookmark Bar", and pretty much everything I access in browsers is tuck all the way at the right-hand-side.
It looks like a mashup of a new browser and the newest IE. Thus, fail, because the newest IE is atrocious.

So basically Porn Mode. I might toy around with this browser a little more.

I don't need to hold the two buttons but yeah, its the part of the laptop touch pad that acts like a mouse wheel.[QUOTE="Lockedge"]There doesn't seem to be a way for me to access my bookmarks that I imported from FF3.

It imported all my 100+ bookmarks from FF3. If it didnt import automatically, you can do it manually.
I had to run the importer twice, and then they showed up. :S I kept looking at this 'Bookmark bar' that had nothing within it. When I imported my stuff, finally a tab showed at the side. It's......an interesting way to hotkey bookmarks, but I'm not sold on it. I don't know whether I'd be quicker using the bookmarks bar, or the "other bookmarks" tab.
It looks like it's a decent browser, but I haven't experienced anything for me to place it anywhere but as an equal to IE.
"Here Google Chrome completed the SunSpider JavaScript benchmark in a average of 1,791 milliseconds, nearly half the time that Firefox 3.0.1 took to complete the test. In this test Google Chrome absolutely blows away IE."
