I've smoked a few in my day, I've always wanted to become addicted just to see what all the fuss was about when it comes to quitting, but I don't have the patience, money, or balls.
Nope. I'm allergic to smoke, so I stay away from them. I keep trying to get my mom to quit, and hope my oldest sister quits. Though, right now, :| she seems to be cutting the filters off of her cigarettes because they are too "weak".

My father and uncle used to smoke, but they quit. My great grandfather on my mother's side used to smoke three packs a day.XD And one of my great uncles died of lung cancer, caused by smoking...XD

Why doesn't she just buy the filter less kind? I couldn't tell you. She's of course not the brightest one of the family. :?

Yes, it quite does make them more deadly. :| Like I said. She's not the brightest of my family. She's also wanting to become a registered nurse.
lol there are other things you can do to release stress you know :P I know, but I prefer smoking over those things. I've found that driving, or going to the gym and working out to be really good ways to relieve stress. Same for just sitting back, listening to some relaxing music, and drinking some tea to e good. I have quite alot of stress in my life....... Try to get a girlfriend. Spending time with someone else is a good way to relieve stress.....

I've smoked about a pack in my entire life. I had my first one at age 15. I don't enjoy them, though I can tolerate menthols. It's far from a habit for me. I just do it every once in a while with a friend or if I'm feeling really stressed and in need of a smoke and a walk around the block to cool down. Other than that, though, I really dislike them.

If she's cutting the filters off, tell her to start hand-rolling her own. Bags of tobacco are wayyy cheaper than filtered cigs.
