I am 15, and unfourtunately, they have every right in the world. I agree with my parents religion but I have to wonder what makes you an atheist?

you're pretty much your parents property until you're 18

property = ownership. parents = masters.

They have the right to teach you whatever they want until you are an adult. You have the right to not believe what they say, but until you are grown and out of their house, you are under their rules, and they can push as much or as little as they want.Dracargen

It's only a lie in your opinion.:| To them, it's real. To them, teaching their kids religion is no different than teaching them the laws of biology. Yes, they have the right, whether you think it's a lie or not.

They can't teach them to break the law, of course, but they can teach them YEC or anything else that is permissible. When the kid grows up and enters the world, he'll see the world for what it is and will be able to choose if he wants to believe his parents or someone else. The rights will be put on him.
