Sometimes I catch people looking at me at the gym, is it cuz im ugly or what :P
The only people I stare at the gym are the big ass mofos I wish I looked like or the beautiful women

If it's an astonishing beautiful girl, i can catch myself staring... and i try real hard to not to do that. Sometime if i'm in a place with the same woman and i can't seem to stop, i just get myself out of there. Like when i'm at the gym.
If you wondering what possible situation, think of it if you were running behind a woman when on treadmills. imagine it for a moment. now you might know why i might just leave for a while or do something else.
Often times though if i'm staring for any other reason, i'm day dreaming or thinking. Basically just staring out into space.
Wondered the same thing this afternoon when I was there. Anyway there was this girl that kept staring at me and by staring I mean like a hungry tiger looks at a zebra...it was very..awkward. I had some brief looks and after a while I remembered I had seen her before.
Turns out we know each other so maybe she was just checking if I wasn't the wrong guy. I liked her when I was like in 8th grade she was in 11th, we did the same extracurricular activities and I had virtually no chance with her.
I remembered how she was back then and I stared at her now, 80 more pounds do no good to anyone. I lol'd in my mind while thinking "I "liked" this girl?!"
Moral of the story, yes I stare.
ill check out girls sometimes at the gym, not really too into guys :P i have caught some people looking at me at the gym before, sometimes its just because they see me there regularly or sometimes its out of curiosity
My friend and i practically had fans in our gym after we came there one night and had a leg lift competition. there were like 20 people standing by us when we maxed out the machine at 1,250 pounds. what was funny was that this one dude in the crowd tried to impress everyone and lift 1,000 pounds, lets just say his legs didnt agree with him. i do p90x now so my days at the gym are numbered
I don't believe this at all. 1250 pounds? Only if you're a body builder.

This is why I don't go to gyms. I get stared at in co-ed gyms and all female gyms are WAY to expensive :( Amnesiac23That sucks.. Why is that you think? the female-only gyms would be anymore expensive then the mens? to offset the loss of not having the men in the gym? and i really don't mean to stare, but you ladies are all so pretty. Can't help myself sometimes. sorry. :)

Can't help myself sometimes. sorry. :) Yeah, probably is making up for the loss. All of the women's gyms around here are privately owned, so I'm sure that plays a role in the price also. The ones that aren't (like Curves) tend to be in VERY small locations so I can't imagine they have a whole ton of members either.
I normally don't notice when/if people stare, and I try to avoid doing so myself for more than a few seconds.
I remember there was a huge guy I would always stare at...the guy could lift like 170kg (not lying, really) from the ground to his waist, and used pretty much every machine with no difficulty at all. then like 4 days later, the guy killed himself, turns out he was on heavy doses of roids. poor guylightleggy
My gf's brother did a 370kg deadlift yesterday, so that's nothing new. Take a look at strongmen..
